どれだけゴールを重ねている名選手でも、初めてのゴールは印象深いはず。今回の企画『FIRST GOALS』では、選手たちが各クラブで初めて決めたゴールを紹介していく。今回はレアル・マドリーのブラジル代表FWヴィニシウス・ジュニオールがフラメンゴ時代に決めた最初のゴールだ。
名門フラメンゴの下部組織で育ったヴィニシウスは、若くして才能を開花させ、“ニューネイマール”と評されるほどの活躍を見せる。そして2018年夏にレアル・マドリーに加入した。
マドリーでも周囲の期待を上回る速度で活躍を見せているヴィニシウスだが、記念すべきプロ初ゴールは2017年8月10日に行われた、コパ・スダアメリカーナ2回戦、チリのCDパレスティーノとの2ndレグで記録している。
4-0と大量リードして迎えた72分、ヴィニシウスが途中出場を果たす。すると直後の73分、スルーパスで裏に抜け出したヴィニシウスがボックス深部からクロスを上げる。これは中央の味方に合わなかったが、ファーポストで味方がヘディングで折り返す。中に走り込んだヴィニシウスがこれに合わせると、豪快なプロ初ゴールとなった。
