アルゼンチンでプロキャリアをスタートさせたオスバルド氏は、2006年1月に加入したアタランタを皮切りに多くのセリエAクラブを渡り歩くと、ローマで頭角を現した。
その後サウサンプトン移籍を経て、2013-14シーズン後半にはレンタルでユベントスに加入したオスバルドだが、2014年5月11日に行われたセリエA第37節の古巣ローマ戦では、劇的なゴールで勝利に貢献している。
試合は拮抗した展開となり、0-0のままでディショナルタイムに突入。しかし、終了間際の94分、中盤まで下がってきたFWカルロス・テベスがMFポール・ポグバにパス。ポグバは溜めを作り、右サイドのスペースに走っていたDFステファン・リヒトシュタイナーにボールを預ける。

欧州のドリブルキングはメッシ! C・ロナウドとは成功数に1000以上の差
