元インテル指揮官のルイジ・シモーニ氏が22日、81歳で死去した。かねてより脳卒中のため、闘病し入院していたとのことだ。現役時代にナポリやトリノ、ユベントスなどに在籍した経験のあるシモーニ氏は指導者転向後、ラツィオやナポリ、インテルなどイタリア国内の複数クラブを指揮。1997年にはインテルの指揮官となり、元ブラジル代表FWロナウドを擁した中、UEFAカップ(現ヨーロッパリーグ)優勝を果たした。
そして1997-98シーズンのイタリア年間最優秀監督賞に輝き、「戦術はロナウド」という名言も残していた。

「この頃のスピードは無敵」“怪物”ロナウドがバルセロナで見せた60m独走ゴールから25年

「15年前と全く変わらない」「南米勢が全然太ってなくて凄い」インテルのレジェンドが集結!三冠メンバーも参加したレジェンドマッチに反響

元インテルDFクリスティアン・キブの現役最後のゴールは鮮やかな左足FK【ビューティフル・フリーキック】

マキシ・ロペスが元妻ワンダ・ナラとディナーに…かつてイカルディと不倫され離婚も「幸せであり続けて欲しい」

長友の元同僚グアリン、自殺未遂と現在の生活を明かす「飛び降りれば解放される」
