昨夏にユベントスからレンタル移籍したアルトゥール。しかし、加入直後に左足太ももの負傷で長期離脱を余儀なくされると、復帰後もユルゲン・クロップ監督の信頼を掴めず、プレミアリーグでは1試合も出場しないままシーズンを終えた。
アルトゥールのレンタルには3750万ユーロ(約54億4000万円)の買い取りオプションが付随していたが、リバプールは行使せず。アルトゥールは1年でユベントスに復帰することになった。
失意の1年を過ごす結果となったアルトゥールだが、30日に自身のツイッターを更新し、クラブやファンへの感謝を表している。
