そのモロッコ戦でも卓越した繋ぎで主導権を握っていったが、今大会を通じて躍進が印象的な相手に延長戦を含め、あとひと押しが足りない展開が続くと、PK戦に。3人目までに失敗が続き、16強敗退が決まった。
今大会の全4試合に先発したブスケッツは試合後、「この大会にい続けたかった」と悔しさを滲ませながら、試合を振り返っている。
「僕らはよくやったと思う。タフなフィジカルゲームだったけど、時間が経つにつれ、より多くのスペースを見つけられるようになったし、延長戦でもそうだった。(パブロ・)サラビアのチャンスもあったし、残念だ。PK戦という残酷な形に持ち込まれてしまった。難しいものだったよ。相手を消耗させ、スペースを見つけようとしたけど、最後のパスやフィニッシュだったりでちょっとツキもなかった」

「彼は完全に正しかった」頂点に上り詰めたロドリ、シティ移籍時にブスケッツから受けた言葉明かす…シメオネ&ペップの両指揮官から得た学びも
スペイン代表MFロドリがマンチェスター・シティ移籍の裏側や、指導を受けたディエゴ・シメオネ監督、ジョゼップ・グアルディオラ監督について語った。 今や世界最高のアンカーとして知れ渡るロドリ。昨シーズンはシティで前人未到のプレミアリーグ4連覇を達成すると、今夏はユーロ2024を制し、大会最優秀選手にも選ばれた。 先日発表された2023-24シーズンのバロンドール候補30名にも入った28歳は、『The Players’ Tribune』に自らの半生を寄稿。そのなかでビジャレアルからアトレティコ・マドリーへ移籍した18-19シーズンを振り返り、シメオネ監督からの教えを明かしている。 「古巣のアトレティコに1シーズン戻った時、競争心の本当の意味を学んだ。ビジャレアルにいた時は足元のボール扱いが得意だったけど、少し軟弱だった。シメオネの下、悪者になることがどういうことかを学んだ。ピッチ上で少し嫌な奴になること。本気でタックルすること。90分間相手チームを苦しめること。これもまた重要な要素だった」 また、アトレティコからシティへ移籍した2019年夏も回想。バルセロナ時代にグアルディオラ監督から指導を受けた元スペイン代表MFセルヒオ・ブスケッツ(インテル・マイアミ)にアドバイスをもらっていたという。 「翌年の夏にシティへ移籍するチャンスがあって、僕にとっては夢のようなことだった。移籍合意前にブスケッツと話し、彼はこう言った。『ペップ? 彼は君をもっと良い選手にしてくれるだろう。だけど君を追い込むことを決してやめないはずだ。君に決して終わりはない、とね』」 「セルヒオはペップの下で(僕と)同じ役割を担い、多くの偉業を成し遂げたから、彼の言葉は大いに信頼している。そして、彼は完全に正しかった」 さらに、実際に時間を共にして感じたグアルディオラ監督の強みにも言及。自身の進化も止めないことが成功の秘訣だと理解したようだ。 「僕が思うペップのユニークなところは、常に一歩先を行くところだ。彼は周囲のゲームが進化するより前に、常に進化している。彼は昨シーズンと全く同じプレーのままでいることに決して満足しない。なぜなら、ライバルは常に昨シーズンを分析しているからだ」 「立ち止まっていては、プレミアリーグのタイトルを4年連続で獲得することはできない。自分自身を一新させるか、死ぬかのどちらかだ」 2024.09.07 20:05 Sat

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

元浦和監督のリカルド・ロドリゲス氏が考える日本の不安要素は?「成長している」と久保建英にも言及
今シーズン限りで浦和レッズの監督を退任したリカルド・ロドリゲス氏が、日本代表について言及した。スペイン『アス』が伝えた。 2017年に徳島ヴォルティスの監督に就任し、Jリーグでのキャリアをスタート。2021年から浦和で指揮を執り天皇杯優勝。今シーズンはAFCチャンピオンズリーグ(ACL)で決勝に駒を進めたが、退任が発表されてていた。 日本で6年指揮をしたリカルド氏が、カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)に向けた『アス』のインタビューに応じ、日本サッカーについて語った。 「テクニックのある選手もいるが、多くのチームが[3-4-2-1]でプレーするため、シャドーと呼ばれる選手もたくさんいる」 「久保建英や伊東純也のように、目立つとすぐにヨーロッパへと出ていくようなウイングの選手はそう簡単には見つからない。Jリーグでそのような選手を見つけるのは簡単ではない」 また、日本代表についても言及。中山雄太がケガでメンバーから外れ、町野修斗が選出されたことには驚いたとコメント。中盤に選手が豊富にいる一方で、前線には不安を抱えていると分析した。 「とても明確なアイデアを持っているチームだ。、最近の彼らはケガ人という少し問題を抱えている。左サイドのディフェンダーである中山が負傷し、町野が入った。彼は日本のリーグでプレーしている選手だが、森保監督がストライカーを選んだということはちょっと衝撃だった。ただ、彼の頭の中には、どの選手がそのポジションをできるかが入っているのだろう」 「また、3バックなのか、4バックなのかも、監督としては読めない。どうすんだろうというのもあり、酒井と話したことはあるが、考えははっきりしているのだろう」 「日本代表は中盤にとても良いオプションがあると思う。堂安はもちろん、三笘、伊東純也、鎌田、久保…守田、遠藤、田中も良いレベルのピボーテだ」 「不安要素は前線にある。大迫はケガから復帰し、監督は最適な選手ではないと考えたのかもしれない。彼はメンバーに入っていない。代わりの選手が誰になるかは分からないが、前田はカウンターの勝負になったら面白い。ストライカーは日本の大きな問題だ」 また、日本の戦い方についてもコメント。攻撃や守備について語る中、メンバー的に3バックになると思われた中でそうでなかったことにも驚いたようだ。 「アジアでは彼らは支配的でチャンスを作るチームであり、中盤から前方にかけてはよく機能する。守備のアイデアもよく、チームとしてもバリエーションがあり、よくやっている」 「彼らのモデルはボールを持ちたいということだが、三笘、前田と言った縦にプレーすることもできる。スペイン戦ではよりスピーディーに攻めるだろう」 「冨安は万能な選手だ。山根と酒井は右サイドバックだ。中山が入らず、長友しか本職の左サイドバックがいないから、3バックにするかと思ったが、そうではなかった」 そして久保建英(レアル・ソシエダ)についても言及。今シーズンは成長を遂げているとし、次のW杯では素晴らしい選手になっているだろうとした。 「成長している。彼はこのチームを必要としていたと思う。自分のサッカーを成長させるチーム。レアル・ソシエダのような、闘志あふれる試合をするチームをだ」 「攻撃だけでなく、守備のことも考え、より完成度の高い選手になるように彼の成長を見守りたいと思った。そして、(ヘタフェ時代に)ボルダラスと過ごした時間も面白かった」 「彼はサッカー選手として成長し、今回のW杯ではまだ少し成熟度が足りないかもしれないが、次のW杯ではとても良い選手になっているだろう」 2022.12.01 17:50 Thu
