ドイツ代表の復活について語るハヴァーツ「世界の頂点に返り咲くことができる」

チェルシーのドイツ代表MFカイ・ハヴァーツが母国の復活について語った。

ドイツ代表は2014年のブラジル・ワールドカップ(W杯)と2017年のコンフェデレーションズカップで優勝を果たし、黄金期を迎えた。しかし、その後はユーロ2016で準決勝敗退、2018年のロシアW杯でグループステージ敗退と思うような成績を残せていない。

ハヴァーツ自身は19歳で2018年9月にA代表デビュー。先のユーロ2020でも4試合で2ゴールを決める活躍を見せたが、チームはイングランド代表に敗れてラウンド16で姿を消している。

そんな中、ドイツ『ビルト』のインタビューで、2022年に開催されるカタールW杯の優勝に向けて必要なことを聞かれると、近年の代表の低迷に触れつつも、世界王者の奪還に自信をのぞかせた。

「ここ数年の成績は良くなかった。だからこそ、多くのことを変えていかなければならない」

「とはいえ、僕たちはスーパープレーヤーを擁する非常に優れたチームであることを確信している」

アーセナル、今季3rdユニフォームは緑!80年代意識のレトロスタイル
