ユナイテッドのプレミアリーグ連勝が「3」でストップ。

マンチェスター・ユナイテッドのエリク・テン・ハグ監督が2日に敵地で行われたプレミアリーグ第14節でニューカッスル・ユナイテッド戦を振り返った。

リーグ3連勝で迎えたニューカッスル戦だったが、55分に先制を許すと、そのまま0-1で敗北。スコアこそ僅差だが、内容的に圧倒され、先のチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)で喫した敗退迫る痛恨ドローからのバウンスバックとはならなかった。

前半から勝ち筋を見いだせない戦いぶりだったが、オランダ人指揮官は『TNT Sports』でこう語っている。

「厳しい前半だったし、ハーフタイムに『0-0で満足すべき。試合にとどまらなければならない』と言った。終盤のカムバックは良かったが、あれこそ我々がすべき戦いだ。明日、それについてチームと話すだろう。ニューカッスルに敬意を表しながらそれについて話し合い、水曜日に向かうんだ」

上位争いを演じるニューカッスルに敗れ、一歩後退したが、6日の次節ではチェルシーとのホーム戦。指揮官は巻き返しを誓った。

「このチームには立ち直る力がある。マンチェスター・シティ戦後でそれを目にしたはずだ。ひどい負け方をしても、団結している。プランをもって前に進み続けるんだ」

「高価な食べ物はない」ギネス記録樹立、C・ロナウドのあの肉体の秘訣を専属シェフが明かす
