出場減のラポルテ、強硬手段を使ってクラブに退団を要求?

マンチェスター・シティのスペイン代表DFアイメリク・ラポルテが退団を希望しているようだ。

2018年1月にビルバオから推定6500万ユーロの移籍金でシティに加入したラポルテ。当初は守備力の低さが指摘されることも少なくなかったが、ジョゼップ・グアルディオラ監督の下、強みである左足のビルドアップ能力を引き伸ばし、次第に守備も改善していったことてセンターバックとしてレギュラー確保に至った。

ところが、昨シーズンはポルトガル代表DFルベン・ジアスの台頭でその立場が揺らぐことに。また、イングランド代表DFジョン・ストーンズも調子を維持したことで、ラポルテの序列は次第に低下。結局、プレミアリーグでは16試合、チャンピオンズリーグでは4試合の出場にとどまった。

そのような状況から、スペイン代表DFは退団を要求しているという。スポーツジャーナリストのダンカン・キャッスル氏によると、「ラポルテはクラブに解決策を見つけるよう圧力をかけるため、問題を引き起こしている」というのだ。

そんなラポルテの望みはスペインに戻ること。以前はバルセロナからの関心が伝えられていたが、同クラブがシティからスペイン代表DFエリック・ガルシアを獲得して以降はその噂も途絶えている。

一方、シティではストーンズが売却候補に挙がっているという情報もあるが、果たして今夏のセンターバック事情はどうなるのだろうか。

日本と対戦するスペイン代表にサプライズも? ラージリストに4年代表から遠ざかるピケの名前が
