自身9カ国目となるリトアニアのスードゥヴァへと加入した本田は26日、Aリーガ(リトアニア1部)第30節でバンガとの一戦で新天地デビューを果たした。

[4-3-3]の右ウイングで先発出場した本田は、主導権を握るチームで積極的にボールへと絡んでいく。

すると1-0で迎えた後半には徐々に本領を発揮。クロスから何度かチャンスを演出すると、64分にその瞬間がやってきた。

ボックス手前でジョルダン・エンコロロが浮き球のパスを出すと、これを本田がボックス内右で胸トラップし右足シュート。コースを狙ったシュートが左に決まり、スードゥヴァが追加点を奪った。

本田は自身9カ国目でもゴールを記録。これで名古屋グランパス、VVVフェンロ、CSKAモスクワ、ミラン、パチューカ、メルボルン・ビクトリー、ボタフォゴ、ネフチ・バクーに続いてゴールを記録した。
