キエッリーニが自叙伝で3冠を逃した3年前のCL決勝を回想「疲れていた」

2016-17シーズンのユベントスは、6年連続でスクデットを獲得。また、コッパ・イタリアも制していた。CLでも準々決勝でバルセロナを下し、準決勝ではモナコを退け決勝の舞台へとたどり着いたため、3冠達成まであと一歩に迫っていた状況だった。

カーディフで行われたレアル・マドリーとの決勝では20分にFWクリスティアーノ・ロナウドの得点で先制されたものの、27分にFWマリオ・マンジュキッチのスーパーゴールで同点に追いついた。しかし、後半は力及ばず結果的には1-4と大敗を喫していた。

この試合にフル出場したキエッリーニが、自身が出版した自叙伝『Io,Giorgio』の中で当時の試合のことを回想。疲れが原因だったと語っている。

「カーディフでのレアル・マドリーとの決勝についてのたくさんのことが言われていた。だが、奇妙なことは何も起きなかった。ただ疲れていた。ハーフタイムにセンセーショナルなことは何も起きず、誰も戦おうとしなかった」

「疲れ果てていたから負けた。決勝はいつも遅すぎる。前半が終わった後、僕たちはとても疲れていた。マンジュキッチは歩くことすらできず、(ミラレム・)ピャニッチも同様だった」

「監督が僕らに話しかけている間、彼らは膝をさすっていた。息が切れていた。前半は1-1だったが、そこから劇的に終わった」

サッカーファンなら誰もが一度は見たことがあるであろう歴史に残るスーパーゴール。今回の企画『Incredible Goals』(信じられないゴール)では、これまでに生まれた驚愕のゴールを紹介していく。今回は元オランダ代表MFエドガー・ダービッツ氏がユベントス時代に決めたゴールだ。 <div id="cws_ad">◆警備員も思わず避ける!? ダービッツの強烈ミドル!<br /><div style="margin:0 auto; max-width:100%; min-width:300px; " ><div style="position: relative; padding-bottom:56.25%; height: 0; overflow: hidden; "><iframe src="https://embed.dugout.com/v2/?p=eyJrZXkiOiJ3czFYWUtpMCIsInAiOiJ1bHRyYXNvY2NlciIsInBsIjoiIn0=" style="width: 300px; min-width: 100%; position: absolute; top:0; left: 0; height: 100%; overflow: hidden; " width="100%" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen scrolling="no"></iframe></div></div></div> 名門アヤックスユースで育ったダービッツ氏は、1991年にトップチームデビュー。アヤックスでは、数々のタイトル制覇に大きく貢献した。この活躍が認められ、1996年にミランへ加入するもケガやフロントとの確執から1997-98シーズン途中にユベントスへ移籍。ユベントスでは、シーズン途中加入ながらスクデット獲得に大きく貢献し信頼を勝ち取ると、2003-04シーズンにバルセロナへレンタル移籍するまで、在籍6年間で公式戦243試合に出場した。 1999年の1月26日に行われたコッパ・イタリア準々決勝、ボローニャとの2ndレグでは見事なゴールを決めている。 0-0で迎えた78分、中盤から持ち上がったダービッツは、ゴールまで25m以上の距離があったものの、そのまま利き足である左足を一閃。グングンと伸びたボールは相手GKフランチェスコ・アントニオーリに触ることすら許させず、ゴール左上隅に突き刺さった。この強烈なシュートには、ゴールネットの裏にいた警備員も思わず顔を背けており、その威力の程が分かる圧巻のシュートだった。 2020.07.05 17:30 Sun
