ボール隠してアザールに蹴られたボールボーイ、億万長者となった10年後の姿が話題に!父の支援で事業成功、資産は約64億円

23日に行われるチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)ラウンド16のアトレティコ・マドリーvsチェルシーを前に、両クラブに在籍経験のあるフラメンゴの元ブラジル代表DFフィリペ・ルイスがイギリス『ガーディアン』のインタビューに答えた。 2010年から2014年にかけてアトレティコでプレーしていたフィリペ・ルイスは、2014年夏にチェルシーに移籍した。その夏を最後に退団したレジェンドのアシュリー・コールの後釜として高い期待がかけられていたが、当時の指揮官ジョゼ・モウリーニョの信頼を得られず、1年後にアトレティコへ戻っていった。 わずか1年の在籍だったが、フィリペ・ルイスは印象的なことが多かったとコメント。特にFWエデン・アザール(現レアル・マドリー)は、これまで共にプレーしてきた中で最高の選手だったとし、驚きの逸話を明かしている。 「ネイマールに並んで、エデンは僕が一緒にプレーした中で最高の選手だよ。メッシにも届くぐらい、彼は一人で試合を勝たせてしまっていた」 「あまり守備もしないしトレーニングもしてなかったけどね。試合の5分前までロッカールームでマリオカートで遊んでいた始末だよ」 「靴紐も結ばず練習やウォーミングアップをしていたよ。だけど誰も彼からボールを奪えなかった。簡単にドリブルで3、4人抜き去っていくんだ。近付き過ぎれば一瞬で引き離されてしまう。本当に凄かったよ」 フィリペ・ルイスはまた、2015年2月にチェルシーからフィオレンティーナにレンタル移籍したFWモハメド・サラーにも言及。その去り際に、引き留めようと理由を訪ねていたようだ。 「サラーがここまで優秀だとは誰も思わなかっただろう?それは違う。練習で僕は何度ヤツに屈辱を味わってきたか…」 「彼がフィオレンティーナに行くと聞いた時、僕は聞いたんだ。『どうして出ていくんだ?ここはチェルシーだぞ』って。そしたら彼はこう言った。『プレーするためだ』って」 「ああ、この少年(当時22歳)は凄いなと思ったよ。彼がサッカーをするのは決してお金やタイトルのためではなかった。彼は自分を証明するために移籍したんだ」 「トレーニングでの彼はメッシみたいだった。本当にね。誰にでも聞いてみるといいよ」 そして、フィリペ・ルイスは1年でチェルシーを退団しアトレティコに復帰した理由も説明。チェルシーに勧誘したディレクターのマリナ・グラノフスカイアに別れと感謝のメッセージを送っていたという。 「最後にマリナにメッセージを送ったんだ。ベストを尽くせなくてごめん、信じてくれてありがとうってね」 「これ以上モウリーニョの下にいたくなかった。でもこれだけは言わせてほしい。モウリーニョだけのせいではないと」 「チョロ(ディエゴ・シメオネ)がいれば、僕はまた昔のフィリペ・ルイスのようになれると思っていたんだ。後に彼はこう言ってくれた。『お前は私の下でなら上手くやれる。もう一度戻ってこい』とね」 「その通りだったよ。彼は僕の頭の隅々まで把握していた。復帰することに疑いは全くなかったよ」 2021.02.23 16:34 Tue
