ブラジルを愛するロペスさんは、今大会に向けて蓄えていた髭を剃り、別人と話題になったGKアリソン・ベッカーについても「可愛い」とコメントし「アリソンは最高のルックス。彼は他の全てのブラジル人とは全然違うわ」と称賛していたが、最も夢中になっている選手はブラジル代表ではなかった。

ブラジルを愛し、ブラジルを応援しながらも、どうやら1番の好みはC・ロナウドとのこと。ポルトガルもラウンド16行きが決定している中、共に1位通過となれば決勝か3位決定戦までは当たらない計算に。仮にどちらかが2位になれば、ラウンド16でいきなり対戦するが、その場合はブラジルを応援しながらもC・ロナウドに目を奪われてしまうのだろうか。

マンチェスター・ユナイテッドのポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウドが、20日にトレーニングに復帰したようだ。イギリス『マンチェスター・イブニング・ニュース』が報じている。
昨年10月にパートナーであるジョルジーナ・ロドリゲスさんの懐妊を公表していたC・ロナウドは、18日に自身のインスタグラムを更新。男女の双子の出産と、そのうち男の子が亡くなったことを明かした。
この訃報を受け、C・ロナウドへの全面的なサポートを約束していたユナイテッドは、同選手と家族の心情を考慮し、19日に行われるプレミアリーグ第30節延期分のリバプール戦を欠場することを明かした。
そのリバプール戦ではチームが0-4の惨敗を喫したが、アンフィールドに集まったリバプールサポーターからは、失意のC・ロナウドとその家族への連帯を示すため、同選手の背番号7にちなんで試合開始7分に1分間の拍手と共に、『YNWA』の大合唱が捧げられるエモーショナルなシーンもあった。
C・ロナウドとその家族の痛み、悲しみは簡単に乗り越えられるものではないが、フットボール界屈指のプロフェッショナルは、リバプール戦翌日に行われたキャリントンでのトレーニングに参加、午前中に行われたトレーニングセッションをフルメニューこなしたという。
そのため、23日にアウェイで行われる第34節のアーセナルとのトップ4フィニッシュを懸けたシックス・ポインターには出場する見込みだ。

アル・ナスルのポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウドのパートナーであるジョルジーナ・ロドリゲスさんが、結婚について言及した。イギリス『サン』が伝えている。
C・ロナウドがレアル・マドリーに在籍していた2016年から交際している2人。2017年11月にはアラナちゃんが生まれると、2022年4月にはベラ・エスメラルダちゃんも誕生。ただ、この時は双子として生まれてくるはずが、男児は出産後すぐに他界するという悲しい出来事もあった。
C・ロナウドのアル・ナスル移籍に合わせて一緒にサウジアラビアで過ごしているジョルジーナさんだが、2人は籍を入れておらずに事実婚の状態だ。
結婚について注目が集まる中、ジョルジーナさんは「Netflix」で配信されている自身のドキュメンタリー「Soy Gerogina(私はジョルジーナ)」の第2弾で自身の考えを伝えている。
「私はこれ以上ないほどに結婚しています。クリスティアーノと私は、神の目から見れば結婚しています。それが私にとって重要なすべてです」

スーパースターはやはり別格だったといえる出来事が起きた。
カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)が開幕し、各国が2試合を消化した。すでにフランス代表、ブラジル代表、ポルトガル代表の突破が決定。一方で、敗退が決まったのは開催国のカタール代表、カナダ代表のみという状況だ。
そんな中、28日にはポルトガルがウルグアイ代表と対戦。勝利すれば突破が決まる試合では、1人の男が大きな注目を集めた。
それはポルトガル代表のキャプテンであるFWクリスティアーノ・ロナウド。大会前にはマンチェスター・ユナイテッドやエリク・テン・ハグ監督への批判を口にしたインタビューが公開されて大きな話題に。すると、初戦の前にクラブが契約解除を発表し、現在は所属クラブがない中でW杯に出場していることとなる。
ピッチ外で大きな話題となったC・ロナウドだが、ピッチ内でも話題をしっかり作ることに。初戦のガーナ代表戦ではゴールを決め、W杯史上初の5大会連続ゴールを記録。歴史に名を残すこととなった。
そのC・ロナウドの一挙手一投足には、世界中が注目する中、試合でも大きな話題となる出来事が起こった。
28日のウルグアイ戦で撮られた写真。なんと、C・ロナウドを間近で撮影しようとした各国のカメラマンが集結したのだ。
1人の選手に少なく見ても30名以上がカメラを向ける姿がおさえられ、異様な光景となっている。
これには「ちょっと怖いな」、「やりすぎだろう」、「カメラマンの唯一の仕事だな」と揶揄するコメントもある中、「史上最高の選手だ」、「全ての目が彼に向けられている」、「彼は王様」、「素晴らしい選手だ」、「プレッシャーが凄いだろうな」とC・ロナウドの偉大さを感じるというコメントが多く寄せられた。

マンチェスター・シティのベルギー代表MFケビン・デ・ブライネ(32)が、自身の去就について語った。ベルギー『HLN』が伝えた。
シティの中心選手としてプレーしているデ・ブライネ。2015年8月からプレーし、公式戦382試合で102ゴール170アシストを記録している。
今シーズンはケガも多く、満足いく活躍はできなかったが、プレミアリーグでは前人未到の4連覇を達成した。
デ・ブライネは契約が残り1年となった中、サウジアラビアから超巨額のオファーが届いているとのこと。『HLN』では家族について語り、イングランド以外でプレーすることについて言及した。
「(妻の)ミッチェル(・ラクロワ)にとって、エキゾチックな冒険は問題ない。また僕たち家族の会話も増えていっている」
「契約はまだ1年残っているので、何が起こるのかを考えなければいけない。僕の長男(メイソン・ミリアン)は今8歳だけど、イギリスしか知らない。彼はまた、僕がシティでどれぐらいプレーするのかについても尋ねてきた。その瞬間が来たら、僕たちは何らかの方法で対処しなければいけない」
まだまだ第一線でプレーできそうなデ・ブライネだが、サウジアラビアのようなところからのオファーも検討し始める時期に。移籍の可能性についても言及した。
「僕の年齢では、全てに対してオープンでなければならない。キャリアの終わりになるかもしれないし、信じられないほどの金額についても話している。時にはそのことについて考えなければならないこともある」
「そこで2年間プレーできれば、信じられないほどの金額を稼ぐことができるだろう。その前は15年間サッカーをしなければならなかった。まだ、その金額にすら達していないかもしれない」
「その後、それが次に何を意味するのかを考えなければならない。ただ、現時点ではまだ、そのことについては考える必要はない」
デ・ブライネには、ポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウドを擁するアル・ナスルやブラジル代表FWネイマールを擁するアル・ヒラルなどが獲得に動いているとのこと。年俸は7000万ユーロ(約117億8000万円)が提示されたようだが、デ・ブライネは即決はしなかったようだ。

ポーランド代表GKヴォイチェフ・シュチェスニー(34)はユベントス退団を避けられないのか。イタリア『カルチョメルカート』が伝える。
ユーベ愛を公言することを憚らないシュチェスニー。選手寿命が長いGKとはいえ、年齢を重ねるごとにシュートストッパーとして油が乗ってきた34歳であり、時代の転換期にあるクラブにおいて、その存在は非常に大きい。
しかし、クラブはモンツァから今季のセリエA最優秀GK賞受賞者、イタリア人GKミケーレ・ディ・グレゴリオ(26)の獲得に接近し、シュチェスニーの高年俸が負担となっていることは想像に難くない。
これを受けてか、シュチェスニー本人は「ユーベで引退」の意向を関係者へ頻繁に語るようになったとも。しかし、ここ数日でサウジアラビアはアル・ナスルとの紐付けが強まり、これを受け入れざるを得ないとの見立ても。
どうやら先方からは年俸1900万ユーロ(約32.1億円)の2年契約が用意されている模様。ユベントスは正守護神を移籍金500万〜600万ユーロ(約8.4億〜10.1億円)で売る一方、1300万ユーロ(約22億円)もの人件費を削減できるという。
シュチェスニーはユベントス残留かアル・ナスル移籍か…現段階ではどう決着するか不透明だが、ユベントスが売却を想定し、シュチェスニー本人も本意ではなくとも後者を覚悟していることは確か、とされている。

アル・ナスル行きが濃厚とされていたユベントスのポーランド代表GKヴォイチェフ・シュチェスニー(34)だが、ここに来て交渉がストップしたようだ。
2017年にアーセナルからユベントスへ完全移籍すると、ジャンルイジ・ブッフォンの退団によって守護神の座を得たシュチェスニー。これまでユベントスで公式戦252試合に出場し、セリエAで3回、コパ・イタリアで3回、スーペル・コパで2回の優勝に貢献した。
今シーズンも引き続き守護神として、公式戦35試合に出場。一方で、クラブとの契約は2025年夏までとなっていることもあり、去就には注目が集まっていた。
そんな中で、シュチェスニーにはサウジアラビアのアル・ナスルが接触。新たにチアゴ・モッタ監督が就任し新体制がスタートしたユベントスも守護神売却に乗り気であり、残るはシュチェスニーの意思次第とも報じられていた。
だが、移籍市場に精通するジャーナリストのファブリツィオ・ロマーノ氏によると、シュチェスニーの交渉は現在ストップしているとのこと。両クラブ間の交渉に問題が生じているのが原因だという。
フランス『フットメルカート』によると、アル・ナスル側にはシュチェスニー以外のGKを望む声もあり、意見が統一されていない可能性がある模様。ユベントスとしては早めの決着が望ましい状況ではあるが、果たして。

アル・ナスルのポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウドのパートナーであるジョルジーナ・ロドリゲスさんが、結婚について言及した。イギリス『サン』が伝えている。
C・ロナウドがレアル・マドリーに在籍していた2016年から交際している2人。2017年11月にはアラナちゃんが生まれると、2022年4月にはベラ・エスメラルダちゃんも誕生。ただ、この時は双子として生まれてくるはずが、男児は出産後すぐに他界するという悲しい出来事もあった。
C・ロナウドのアル・ナスル移籍に合わせて一緒にサウジアラビアで過ごしているジョルジーナさんだが、2人は籍を入れておらずに事実婚の状態だ。
結婚について注目が集まる中、ジョルジーナさんは「Netflix」で配信されている自身のドキュメンタリー「Soy Gerogina(私はジョルジーナ)」の第2弾で自身の考えを伝えている。
「私はこれ以上ないほどに結婚しています。クリスティアーノと私は、神の目から見れば結婚しています。それが私にとって重要なすべてです」
「彼は私たちを守り、一緒にいてくれます。でもいつか、式が挙げられるはずです。『夢は本当に叶うものなんだ』ということをお見せできるのは幸運なことです。神様が与えてくれたチャンスに感謝しています」

ローマのアルゼンチン代表FWパウロ・ディバラは、中東行きに関心を示していないようだ。
2022年7月、ユベントスから加入したディバラ。2023-24シーズンはケガがありながらもセリエAで28試合に出場し13ゴール9アシストを記録しており、指揮官がジョゼ・モウリーニョ監督からダニエレ・デ・ロッシ監督に交代しても主力であり続けた。
そんなディバラだが、契約が2025年夏までとなる中でクラブは高額なサラリーを問題視。長期契約によるサラリーの分割払いを提案しているとされるが、交渉は進んでいない。
このままなら移籍の可能性も排除できないディバラだが、イタリア『トゥットメルカート』によると現時点でサウジアラビア行きは考えていないとのこと。選手の代理人にはアル・ナスルから接触があったものの、丁重に断りを入れたと報じられている。
ディバラ自身は、ローマでのキャリア継続を希望。新契約に向けた交渉再開にも乗り気と伝えられており、今後の進展が注目されている。

マンチェスター・シティのベルギー代表MFケビン・デ・ブライネ(32)が、自身の去就について語った。ベルギー『HLN』が伝えた。
シティの中心選手としてプレーしているデ・ブライネ。2015年8月からプレーし、公式戦382試合で102ゴール170アシストを記録している。
今シーズンはケガも多く、満足いく活躍はできなかったが、プレミアリーグでは前人未到の4連覇を達成した。
デ・ブライネは契約が残り1年となった中、サウジアラビアから超巨額のオファーが届いているとのこと。『HLN』では家族について語り、イングランド以外でプレーすることについて言及した。
「(妻の)ミッチェル(・ラクロワ)にとって、エキゾチックな冒険は問題ない。また僕たち家族の会話も増えていっている」
「契約はまだ1年残っているので、何が起こるのかを考えなければいけない。僕の長男(メイソン・ミリアン)は今8歳だけど、イギリスしか知らない。彼はまた、僕がシティでどれぐらいプレーするのかについても尋ねてきた。その瞬間が来たら、僕たちは何らかの方法で対処しなければいけない」
まだまだ第一線でプレーできそうなデ・ブライネだが、サウジアラビアのようなところからのオファーも検討し始める時期に。移籍の可能性についても言及した。
「僕の年齢では、全てに対してオープンでなければならない。キャリアの終わりになるかもしれないし、信じられないほどの金額についても話している。時にはそのことについて考えなければならないこともある」
「そこで2年間プレーできれば、信じられないほどの金額を稼ぐことができるだろう。その前は15年間サッカーをしなければならなかった。まだ、その金額にすら達していないかもしれない」
「その後、それが次に何を意味するのかを考えなければならない。ただ、現時点ではまだ、そのことについては考える必要はない」
デ・ブライネには、ポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウドを擁するアル・ナスルやブラジル代表FWネイマールを擁するアル・ヒラルなどが獲得に動いているとのこと。年俸は7000万ユーロ(約117億8000万円)が提示されたようだが、デ・ブライネは即決はしなかったようだ。
