シティがFAWSL最多の80ゴール、アーセナル退団のオランダ女子代表FWミーデマを獲得!
マンチェスター・シティ・ウィメンは5日、アーセナルを退団したオランダ女子代表FWフィフィアネ・ミーデマ(27)の加入を発表した。契約期間は3年間とのことだ。 ミーデマは2017年にバイエルンから完全移籍でアーセナルに加入。バイエルンでも同僚だった元なでしこジャパンFW岩渕真奈とアーセナルでもチームメイトとなり、仲の良さも見せていた。 ミーデマはアーセナルで公式戦172試合で125ゴール50アシストという脅威的な数字を残し、2018-19シーズンにはFA女子スーパーリーグ(FAWSL)で優勝。カップ戦では3度の優勝を果たした。 FAWSLでは通算80ゴールを記録し、リーグ史上最多記録時保持者。ゴールデンブーツも2度受賞するなど、アーセナルのエースとしてプレーを続けてきた。 しかし、2022年12月にヒザの前十字じん帯を断裂し10カ月離脱。2023年10月に復帰したが、2024年3月に再びヒザの手術を受け、2023-24シーズンはわずか13試合の出場に終わり、7年間過ごしたチームを退団していた。 シティにはなでしこジャパンのMF長谷川唯が所属。長谷川のパスからミーデマのゴールも見られるかもしれない。 2024.07.05 22:30 Fri

「もっと注目されても良いと思う」アーセナルのレジェンドFWが1人の女子選手を救う…手術費支払いを拒否したクラブに変わり自腹でサポート

2027年のブラジル女子W杯の開催日程が決定! なでしこ含むアジア予選は6枠の出場権+2枠のPOに
国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)は10日、臨時総会を開催。2027年に行われるブラジル女子ワールドカップ(W杯)の開催日程を決議した。 2023年にオーストラリアとニュージーランドの共催で行われた女子W杯はスペイン女子代表が初優勝。なでしこジャパンはグループステージでそのスペインを下していたが、ベスト8での敗退となった。 2027年はブラジルで開催されることが決定していた中、FIFAは臨時総会に先立ちバーチャル会議を実施。ブラジル女子W杯に関して、2027年6月24日〜7月25日まで開催されることが決定した。 32カ国が出場する今大会。29カ国の出場枠は既に決定しており、日本を含むアジア(AFC)は6カ国、ヨーロッパ(UEFA)は11カ国、南米(CONMEBOL)はブラジルを含めて3カ国、アフリカ(CAF)は4カ国、北中米カリブ海(CONCACAF)は4カ国、オセアニア(OFC)は1カ国が出場権を直接獲得する。 また、残りの3枠に関しては、2つのフェーズで行われる10カ国のプレーオフで決定。アジア、アフリカ、北中米カリブ海、南米はそれぞれ2カ国、オセアニア、ヨーロッパは1カ国ずつがプレーオフ出場権を獲得する。 プレーオフの第1フェーズは、最新のFIFAランキングに基づいて6カ国が戦うことに。2026年11月から12月にかけて行われ、上位2カ国が勝ち上がると、北中米カリブ海の2カ国、南米の1カ国、ヨーロッパの1カ国が待つ第2フェーズに進み、3つのカードに分けられ、勝者の3カ国が出場権を獲得する。 2024.12.11 23:40 Wed

2028年ロス五輪の男子サッカーは4カ国枠が削減され「12」に、女子は4カ国増加で「16」に決定! 宮本恒靖JFA会長「出場権獲得に向けて全力」
国際オリンピック委員会(IOC)は9日、2028年のロサンゼルス・オリンピックに関しての変更点を発表。サッカー競技でも大きな変更があった。 IOCはロス五輪に関して、複数競技での変更を発表。サッカーに関しては、男子の参加国を「12」に、女子の参加国を「16」に変更すると発表した。 2024年のパリ五輪までは、男子が「16」チーム、女子が「12」チームとなっていたが、史上初めて逆転することとなった。IOCは「男女平等は選手枠と競技数を決定する上で重要な考慮事項だった」としている。 男子に関しては4カ国も出場枠が減ることになるため、パリ五輪まで3枠だったアジア、アフリカ、4枠だったヨーロッパから削減される可能性は非常に高く、日本にとっては予選が非常に厳しくなる可能性が高い。 一方で、女子に関しては4カ国増加するため、2枠だったアジアが増える可能性は高い。 今回の決定を受け、日本サッカー協会(JFA)は声明を発表。宮本恒靖会長、佐々木則夫女子委員長がそれぞれコメントしている。 ◆宮本恒靖 JFA会長 「男子に関して、オリンピックへの出場枠が減ったことでアジア予選が更に厳しくなることは間違いない。アジアの出場枠が最終的に何枠になるのかは現時点で認識してい ないが、一戦一戦が負けられない戦いになる」 「パリオリンピック出場を勝ち取ってくれた大岩監督の経験が生きると思うし、JFAとしても出場権獲得に向けて全力で取り組んでいきます」 「女子に関して、出場枠が拡大したことは歓迎。アジア予選も決して簡単ではないが、なでしこジャパンはニールセン監督のもとで再び世界一になることを目指していて、そのために一歩一歩着実に進んで行くことが重要だと考えている」 「27年の女子ワールドカップとともに28年のオリンピックの金メダルを目標に強化に努めていきます」 ◆佐々木則夫 女子委員長 「国際オリンピック委員会(IOC)が、2028年に開催されるロサンゼルスオリンピックのサッカー競技について、チーム数の変更があること、具体的には、女子サッカーの参加チーム数を「12」から「16」に増加したことは、承知しています」 「女子サッカーに携わるものとして、世界における女子サッカーの拡大・発展の方向性は嬉しいことであり、現時点では、アジアの出場枠にどのような変更があるかは把握 していませんが、この決定を受けて出場枠が増える可能性があることは、日本の女子サッカーとしても喜ばしいことです」 「私自身の経験では、なでしこジャパンの監督として、2008年の北京オリンピックでは、それまでの出場枠の「10」から「12」に増えたことを経験し、12年のロンドンオリンピックでは決勝まで進んだものの、次の16年のリオデジャネイロオリンピックはアジア予選で敗退しました」 「今回の女子サッカーの出場枠増加が、なでしこジャパンのロサンゼルスオリンピック出場を何も保証していないことは十分理解しており、ニールセン監督が率いるなでしこジャパンの強化方針に変更はありません。むしろ、出場枠が増えることで、他のアジアの国々も出場権を得ようとさらにモチベーションが上がることが予想されるため、アジア予選がより厳しいものになるかもしれません。ただ、我々はどのような状況であろうと、一つ一つ着実に積み上げて、オリンピックの金メダルを目指していきた いです」 2025.04.10 12:15 Thu
