日本サッカー協会(JFA)は29日、なでしこジャパンが11月に行うヨーロッパ遠征で、イングランド女子代表と対戦することを発表した。JFAの発表によると、試合は11月11日(金)にスペインのムルシアで開催。キックオフ時間は現時点で未定だという。
池田太監督は、今回の対戦決定にコメントしている。
「現ヨーロッパチャンピオンであるイングランド女子代表と戦えることを嬉しく思います。今年7月に開催されたUEFA女子ヨーロッパ選手権では、大観衆の中インテンシティの高い戦いが繰り広げられており、そこでプレーするイングランド女子代表の姿を見て大きな刺激を受けていました」

なでしこジャパン候補メンバーが4日からトレーニングキャンプをスタート。6日には合宿3日目を迎えた。 昨年10月に新体制がスタートしたなでしこジャパン。1月から2月にかけてはAFC女子アジアカップを戦ったものの、目指した大会3連覇を逃していた。 それでも2023年に開催されるFIFA女子ワールドカップ(W杯)の出場権を確保。そこに向けた強化がスタートする。 3日目の午前トレーニング終了後、FW井上綾香(大宮アルディージャVENTUS)がメディアのオンライン取材に応対した。 世代別の日本代表を経験しながらも、なでしこジャパンとは縁がなかった井上。27歳での初招集には「選ばれてビックリしましたし、嬉しかったのもありました」と率直な感想を述べた。 WEリーグ開幕にあたり、マイナビベガルタ仙台レディースから大宮VENTUSへと移籍した井上。WEリーグでは15試合で6得点をあげ、得点ランキング3位タイにつけている。 池田太監督もゴールに向かうプレーに期待すると語っていたが、井上は「監督と話したときに運動量や動き直し、背後を狙うことを繰り返しやってほしいと言われました」と語り、「そこが特徴なのでアピールできればと思います」と、求められる部分をしっかりと見せたいとした。 井上のゴールパターンは多いが、「色々な形でゴールが取れているので、それは自信になっています」と本人も手応え。代表でもその力を見せたいところだ。 今回の招集については「なでしこは初めて選ばれて、アンダー世代とは全然違うと思いますし、自分が入った時に何ができるかをイメージしてみていました」と東京オリンピックや女子アジアカップを見ていたとし、「入ってみて、どういうふうにできるかは分からないですが、楽しみではあります」と、これからの合宿が楽しみだとした。 ゴールを決める上での自身のイメージについては「ドリブルだったり、背後へ抜ける動きを得意としているので、そこで結果を残せればと思っています」とコメント。それは大宮VENTUSへ移籍してからの成長を感じるところでもあるという。 「コーチに大野(忍)さんがいて、しのさんがFWをしていて、今まで教えてもらえなかったことを教わっているので、それが刺激になっています」と、元なでしこジャパンFWでコーチを務める大野忍の助言が大きいとした。 その井上は2020年3月に左ヒザじん帯の断裂という重傷を負い、なかなかプレーすることができなかった。 自身のケガについては「長い間プレーできなくて、大宮に来て90分試合に出ることが増えてコンディションが上がってきました」と語り、「夏からヒザのコンディションも良くなっていました」と問題はないという。 またケガをしてから変化があったと言い、「ケガする前はスピードだけでプレーすることが多かったですが、ケガしたことで周りを見て判断するということが意識してできていると思います」と語り、プレースタイルも徐々に変化しているようだ。 なでしこジャパンは来年のW杯出場が決定。6月にはフィンランドへ遠征し、フィンランド女子代表と対戦する。 世界との戦いについて井上は「世代別代表から、そのあと3年ぐらいちゃんとプレーできなくて、代表というのが遠のいていました」と語り、「意識も前ほどは実際なかったというのがありました。WEリーグで結果を残して選ばれたい気持ちはあったので、今回選ばれて良かったです」と、代表活動に参加できるチャンスを喜んだ。その上で、「いただいたチャンスなので、それを1回で終わらずに残れるように頑張っていきたいと思います」と、この先に残り、世界との戦いに備えたいとした。 2022.04.06 18:07 Wed

なでしこジャパン、池田太監督退任で思うこと/六川亨の日本サッカー見聞録
JFA(日本サッカー協会)は21日、なでしこジャパン(日本女子代表)の池田太監督(53歳)が、契約満了に伴い退任することを発表した。池田監督は21年の東京五輪後になでしこジャパンの監督に就任。昨年夏のオーストラリア・ニュージーランド共催のW杯はベスト8、メダルを期待されたパリ五輪もベスト8で敗れて悲願のメダルには届かなかった。 JFAの佐々木則夫女子委員長は、世界大会での上位進出には新たな人材が必要と判断し、8月で契約の切れる池田監督に対して契約延長の申し出はしなかったという。そして後任には外国人指導者も対象に含まれるとし、10月26日に国立競技場で開催される予定の親善試合(対戦相手は未定)についても、早急に決める必要はないと監督の人選は含みを持たせた。 関係者の話によると、佐々木委員長は現在のなでしこジャパンのサッカースタイルがカウンターになっていることに危機感を抱いているそうだ。かつてのようにマイボールの時間を長くして、ポゼッションスタイルがなでしこジャパンの本来のスタイルであるべきだと考えている。 確かに佐々木監督は、澤穂希や宮間あやといった稀代の選手とともにW杯で優勝を果たし、ロンドン五輪でも銀メダルを獲得した。なでしこジャパンのポゼッションスタイルは、当時のアメリカのスンドハーゲ監督をして「一度ボールを失ったら取り返すのは難しい」と言わしめるほどだった。 しかしドイツW杯優勝から13年が経ち、ポゼッションスタイルはなでしこジャパンの専売特許ではなくなった。どのチームもマイボールを大切にして、自陣から攻撃を組み立てようとする。もともとフィジカルの能力はなでしこジャパンよりも高い。そんな欧州のチームがボール保持率で日本を上回るのだから、必然的に昨年のW杯初戦のスペイン戦のように、なでしこジャパンはカウンターに活路を見いだすしかないのは自明の理である。 それでも、あくまでポゼッションスタイルにこだわるというのなら、なでしこジャパンはとりかえしのつかないレベルまで落ちてしまうのではないかと危惧している。幸いなのは、新監督に外国人も含まれるという点だ。日本人だとどうしても過去の栄光にとらわれやすく、ポゼッションスタイルからの脱却も難しいのではないだろうか。その点、外国人監督なら現在のなでしこジャパンの実力を正当に判断し、欧州やアメリカなどと台頭に渡りあうにはどうすべきか先入観なしに考えられるのではないだろうか。 技術に多少の難点があっても、ずば抜けて足が速いとか、190センチ近い長身FWを起用するといった“一芸に秀でた”選手の起用でカウンターに徹するのはいかがだろうか。ダメならやめればいいだけだ。金太郎飴ではないが、誰が出ても同じようなサッカースタイルは、一定のレベルを保てるアドバンテージがあるものの、対戦相手にとって慣れてしまえば脅威も半減してしまう危険がある。 ポゼッションスタイルからの進化を図る意味でも、ポゼッションスタイルで成功を収めた佐々木女子委員長の交代もなでしこジャパンの復権に欠かせないのではないだろうか。 2024.08.22 22:30 Thu

北中米W杯の欧州予選組み合わせ決定! 12カ国+POの4カ国が出場権獲得、来年3月からスタート【2026年北中米W杯欧州予選】

ブリッジは“不倫男”テリーを未だに許さず? 自身の近くに引っ越し発覚後、自宅を売却に出す

イングランド代表が新ユニフォームを発表、赤ではなくなったアウェイは賛否分かれる「初めてじゃないか?」「そのチョイスはなしだ」

イングランド代表のユニフォームが変? ファンが気づいた異変はベテランキットマンのまさかのミス…「間違ってしまった」
