アストン・ビラのイングランド代表MFジャック・グリーリッシュが、ユーロ2020決勝敗退後に神対応を見せたことが話題となっている。

11日、ユーロ2020決勝でイタリア代表と対戦したイングランド代表。聖地・ウェンブリーで初のユーロ制覇に向けて6万人の観客が後押しをしたが、PK戦の末にイタリアが53年ぶりに優勝していた。

PK戦という公式記録上はドロー、どちらが優勝してもおかしくないような状況で悔しさを味わったグリーリッシュ。ユーロ2020では5試合に出場し評価を上げていた。

そのグリーリッシュは試合後に、スタンドへと上がり、1人の少年の元へ。すると、試合で履いていたスパイクをプレゼント。少年は信じられないという様な表情で受け取り、グリーリッシュにセルフィーを撮ってもらっていた。

この少年はオリバーくんといい、父親のダンさんとインスタグラムのアカウントを持っており、セルフィーとともに写真を投稿した。

その投稿では父のダンさんがグリーリッシュの振る舞いを称賛。感謝を述べた。

「スーパー・ジャックは、フィールド場でもフィールド外でも、絶対的な素晴らしい人だ。オリバーと一緒に写真を撮ったあと、スパイクが欲しいかどうかを尋ねてきた」

イングランド代表のユニフォームが変? ファンが気づいた異変はベテランキットマンのまさかのミス…「間違ってしまった」

シティで序列低下のウォーカーに古巣2クラブが関心、熱心なのはイングランド2部クラブ

リンガードがC・ロナウドのゴールパフォをオマージュ「ちょっとしたウェルカム・ギフト」
