クリスタル・パレスアカデミー出身の元選手が34歳で逝去…服役、ポルノ男優転身の過去も

かつてクリスタル・パレスのアカデミーに所属していたオリバー・スペディング(享年34)が、死亡した。イギリス『デイリー・メール』が伝えている。

スペディングはパレスのアカデミーに所属していたもののプロデビューは叶わず。その後は服役していた時期もあったという。

出所後は、塗装職人やデコレーターとして働くなか、クロイドンというアマチュアクラブでサッカーを続けていた。

その後、スペディングはポルノ業界に転身。ダミアン・オリバーという名前で活動していたが、過去のインタビューでは転身を後悔していると語ったこともあったようだ。

古巣のクロイドンは、試合前に1分間の黙とうを実施。スペディングの死に声明を発表している。

「オリバーは数期間にわたってクラブでプレーし、常にチームのために全力を尽くした。とても愛される人物だった」

「彼はクラブのみんなからとても惜しまれ、私たちはこの困難な時期に彼の家族と友人たちに思いを寄せています。オリー、安らかに。トラム(クラブでの愛称)はいつまでもトラムだ」

なお、スペディングの死は未だ明らかになっていない。

鎌田大地に新情報、クリスタル・パレスのメディカルチェックの第一段階を完了とロマーノ砲
