WEリーグ初優勝を決めた三菱重工浦和レッズレディースのなでしこジャパンDF石川璃音が、試合を終えての想いを語った。浦和は3日、Yogibo WEリーグ第21節で大宮アルディージャVENTUSと浦和駒場スタジアムで対戦。4-0で勝利を収めた。引き分け以上で優勝が決まるという状況下、序盤から攻勢を強めた浦和は立ち上がりからシュートシーンを量産し、24分に猶本光の絶妙なループシュートで先制点を挙げた。前半終了間際には島田芽依が追加点を奪うと、後半には相手のミスに乗じて清家貴子が2ゴールをマーク。守っても無失点で90分を終え、文句なしの勝利でWEリーグ初優勝を達成した。この日も先発フル出場を果たし、クリーンシートに貢献した石川は、詰めかけた約5000人のファンに感謝。「今日は優勝を懸けた試合でしたが、すごい大きな声援を送ってもらったので、きつい時間もサポーターさんのおかげで乗り越えることができました。その中で優勝できて良かったです」と、大声援が背中を押してくれたと語った。開幕前のオフには主軸の南萌華がローマへ移籍し、高橋はなも2022年11月の代表活動中に右ヒザの前十字靭帯を損傷。苦しい台所事情の中で最終ラインを支えたのが19歳の石川と40歳の安藤梢というセンターバックコンビだ。特に石川はここまでチーム唯一のリーグ戦全試合フル出場。2022年のU-20女子ワールドカップ(W杯)を経て、目を見張る成長を遂げているが、向上心は尽きない。「まだまだやらなきゃいけないこと、今日も1つミスをしてから立ち直り切らずまた繰り返してしまったというか、(即座に気持ちを切り替えることは)まだ自分に必要なところだと思いますし、常に一定のプレーができるようなプレーヤーになりたいと思います。このチームは自分が失敗しても『大丈夫だよ』と声を掛けてくれるので、今日も乗り越えることができました」周囲のサポートやベテラン勢の行動からも得るものが多く、「今回の試合もクラブハウス出発前に先輩方が集まって、(相手の)この選手はこういう(特徴のある)選手っていうのをみんなでコミュニケーションをとっていて、さすがだなというか、そういうのを自分から発せられるようにならなきゃなと感じますし、一緒にやれることはすごい嬉しいです」と、ともに戦える喜びも口にする。 WEリーグ優勝を達成したチームで出場機会を得ていることは、自信にもつながっているようだ。13日には今夏のオーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子W杯へ向けたなでしこジャパンのメンバー発表が行われるが、名を連ねるか否かは、トピックの1つとなるだろう。「やっぱり優勝したら(池田太)監督も見てくれますし、そういう意味では浦和レッズレディースにいることはすごくありがたいこと。メンバー発表では入るか入らないかで、へこんだり悩んだりすることはありました。そんな中で安藤(梢)さんと(猶本)光さんが相談に乗ってくれて、『そういうところに目を向けるのではなく、(代表メンバーに)入ってどういうプレーをするのかを考えてやるんだよ』って言われて、それからは入るか入らないかは監督次第だと考えて、自分にできることを練習から悩みなくプレーできたのかなという感じです」 2023.06.04 08:20 Sun
