アメリカ代表MFウェストン・マッケニーがカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)に向け気合を入れている。

カタールW杯のアメリカ代表メンバーに選出されているマッケニー。平均年齢25.5歳と若いチームを引っ張る存在だ。

グループBに入ったアメリカは、21日にウェールズ代表との初戦を迎える中、マッケニーには自身のインスタグラムを更新。髪の毛の一部を赤、白、青とアメリカの星条旗に用いられる3色に染めた姿を披露した。

カタール入りした時は黒髪をベースに一部が金髪になっていたが、その金髪部分を3色にセパレートした形だ。

だが、トリコロールの配色にはファンからまさかの指摘が。コメント欄には「兄弟、それはフランスだ」、「ルクセンブルク?」、「フランス?オランダ?」といったコメントが多く集まっている。

思わぬ指摘を食らったマッケニーだが、ウェールズ戦ではこの新しいヘアスタイルで躍動できるか。ウェールズ戦は28時にキックオフ予定だ。

リーズの19歳FWニョントがイタリア帰還へ? ナポリやユベントスら関心か
