国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)は19日、最新のFIFAランキングを発表した。
2024年は1181試合の国際試合が行われた中、11月からここまでの間には21試合のみが開催。そのため、ほとんどの順位に変動が起こらなかった。
上位30位までは変動なし。日本代表も15位をキープして2024年を終えることとなった。

それはフランス代表としても活躍したDFママドゥ・サコー。34歳のサコーは、パリ・サンジェルマン(PSG)の下部組織出身で、ファーストチームに昇華うご、2013年9月にリバプールに完全移籍した。
クリスタル・パレスへのレンタル移籍を経験したのち、リバプールでプレー。2017年8月にクリスタル・パレスに完全移籍すると、その後はモンペリエに完全移籍。2023年11月に退団すると、2024年7月にジョージアのトルペド・クタイシに完全移籍していた。
サッカー選手としては第一線からは離れる形となったサコーだが、イギリス『サン』によると、起業家として華麗なる転身を遂げたとのこと。ドバイで2024年11月に「SAKHO&CO」という不動産会社を起業したという。
主な事業は不動産やインテリアのデザイン事業。コンサルティングや映像制作も手掛けているという。
不動産業としては、ドバイにある数百万ドル相当の高級物件が並んでいるとのこと。第二の人生でも大きなチャレンジをすることになるようだ。

フランス代表を指揮するディディエ・デシャン監督(56)が、2026年の北中米ワールドカップ(W杯)を最後に退任することを発表した。
現役時代はフランス代表としても活躍し、1998年のフランスW杯でキャプテンとして見事に優勝。引退後に指導者に転身すると、クラブチームを指揮した中、2012年にフランス代表の監督に就任。2018年のロシアW杯で見事に優勝に導き、マリオ・ザガロ氏、フランツ・ベッケンバウアー氏に続いて、選手と監督としてW杯を制する3人目の偉業を達成した。
また、2016年のユーロでは準優勝、2022年のカタールW杯でも準優勝と結果を残してきたデシャン監督だが、フランス代表としてのキャリをの終わりを口にした。
フランス『TF1』でのインタビューでデシャン監督は「2026年には終わるだろう。私の頭の中で、それはとても明確だ」と、自身の中で決断を下しているという
「私はフランスを最高レベルに維持するという同じ願望と情熱を持って、自分の時間を全うした」
「もう辞めよう、この後の人生もある。と言えるようにならなければならない。フランスにとって最も重要なのは、長年そうであったように、トップの座を維持することだ」
2026年北中米W杯の予選に関しては、ヨーロッパではまだスタートしていない状況。フランス代表も出場権を確保できるかは未確定だが、まずは3月のUEFAネーションズリーグの結果でグループが決定する。

国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)は19日、最新のFIFAランキングを発表した。
2024年は1181試合の国際試合が行われた中、11月からここまでの間には21試合のみが開催。そのため、ほとんどの順位に変動が起こらなかった。
上位30位までは変動なし。日本代表も15位をキープして2024年を終えることとなった。
1位はアルゼンチンが守り、2位にフランス、3位にスペインと続くことに。イングランド、ブラジル、ポルトガル、オランダ、ベルギー、イタリア、ドイツがトップ10に並んでいる。
アジアのランキングでは若干の動きがあり、ベトナムが2つ順位を上げて114位に。一方で、北朝鮮が1つ、インドネシアが2つ順位を落としている。
なお、2024年で最も試合をしたのはアンゴラ代表。21試合を行っており、この1年間で85位まで浮上。32位もランクを上げることとなった。ノア、ヨルダンが23位上昇して64位、フィジーが20位上昇して148位となっている。

イタリアサッカー連盟(FIGC)は8日、UEFAネーションズリーグ2024-25に臨むイタリア代表メンバー23名を発表した。
ルチアーノ・スパレッティ監督が率いるイタリアは、ここまで4試合を戦い3勝1分け。リーグA・グループ2で首位に立っている。
23名のメンバーにはGKジャンルイジ・ドンナルンマ(パリ・サンジェルマン)やDFジョバンニ・ディ・ロレンツォといった常連組が招集されたほか、手術やケガでユーロ2024以降は参加できていなかったMFニコロ・バレッラ(インテル)が復帰。DFピエトロ・コムッツォ(フィオレンティーナ)、DFニコロ・サヴォーナ(ユベントス)、MFニコロ・ロベッラ(ラツィオ)の3名が初招集となった。
リーグA・グループ2はフランス代表、ベルギー代表、イスラエル代表との争いに。あと勝ち点「1」で準々決勝進出が決まる首位イタリアは、14日にアウェイでベルギー代表と、17日にホームでフランス代表と対戦する。

ディディエ・デシャン監督がレアル・マドリーのフランス代表FWキリアン・ムバッペについて語った。フランスサッカー連盟(FFF)公式サイトが伝えた。
7日、FFFはUEFAネーションズリーグ(UNL)2024-25に臨むフランス代表メンバー23名を発表。アル・イテハドのMFエンゴロ・カンテやマルセイユのMFアドリアン・ラビオが復帰した一方、ムバッペは10月に続いて招集外となった。
デシャン監督は会見でムバッペの選外に言及。先月の代表期間中にナイトクラブでの夜遊びが報じられたFWについて、「オフの日なら、選手たちは自分のやりたいことを自由にできる」とコメントしていた指揮官は、他に理由があると明かしている。
「彼とは何度か話し合い、考え、その方が良いと思ったから今回の招集ではこのような決断を下した。議論するつもりはないが、2つのことが言える」
「キリアンは来たがっていたが、彼を選ばなかったのはスポーツ面以外の問題によるものではない。呼ばないのは今回限りのことだ。2試合あるが、私が設定し、遵守している方針がある。先月満足感を与えてくれた選手たちにプレー時間を分配するというものだ」
「我々は3連勝しており、今回の合宿では2つの重要な目標がある。準々決勝進出を確実なものにすることと、最終戦(現在首位のイタリア代表戦)をグループ首位で戦うことだ。それが私の決定だし、この方が良いと思い、これを受け入れている」
エース抜きのフランスは14日にホームでイスラエル代表と対戦。17日にはアウェイでグループ首位のイタリア代表と対戦する。
