ベルギー代表の新ユニフォームのデザインがリークされている。ユニフォーム専門サイト『Footy Headlines』が伝えている。
ユーロ2024予選をグループ首位で突破したベルギー。本大会では2大会連続でベスト8という成績に終わっている中、カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)後に就任した38歳のドメニコ・デデスコ監督のもとで躍進を目指す。
2024年の6月から7月にかけて行われるユーロ2024だが、『Footy Headlines』によると、2024年の3月から4月にかけて大会で着用するユニフォームが発表される予定とのことだ。
正式発表を前に各国のユニフォームのデザインがリークされている中、ベルギー代表についてもそのデザインが明らかになったようだ。
赤い悪魔の愛称で知られるベルギー代表だが、その新ユニフォームについては、これまでの鮮やかな赤というよりもワインレッドのような色がベースになっている。
シャツ全体に幾何学模様が施され、模様の中には代表チームのエンブレムも描かれている。また、サプライヤーであるアディダスのスリーストライプスは黒、脇に入るラインやアディダスのロゴなどはゴールドであしらわれている。
アウェイユニフォームについても、ホームユニフォームと共通のデザインになるとのこと。そのアウェイユニフォームについては、世界的に有名なベルギーの漫画「タンタンの冒険」の主人公であるタンタンからインスピレーションを受けたカラーになるようだ。
タンタンが漫画の中で着用している衣装同様に、水色をベースとしつつ白い襟がついたデザインに。スリーストライプスや脇に入るラインも白で施される。
ベルギー代表の新ユニフォームには、ファンも「早く欲しい!」、「この発想は素晴らしい」、「パンツは茶色かな?」、「最注目のユニフォームだ!」とコメントしており、特にアウェイユニフォームに期待する声が多くあがっている。

レアル・マドリーのベルギー代表GKティボー・クルトワと、婚約者でモデルのミシェル・ゲルジグさんが、結婚式を前にした姿が話題となっている。
およそ1年前、交際していた2人はイタリアのアマルフィ海岸で婚約。シーズンを終えたこのタイミングで、結婚式が予定されている。
プレウェディング・パーティーは2度行われ、1つはハンガリーのブダペスト、もう1つはスペインのマルベージャで行われた。
そして結婚式は南フランスのカンヌで開催。ベルギー出身のクルトワとイスラエル出身のゲルジグさんにとっては縁はない土地だが、2人が幸せに包まれる場所に選んだ。
クルトワとゲルジグさんは、インスタグラムでその様子をアップ。共に純白の衣装を身に纏い、クルトワは「ドルチェ&ガッバーナ」のジャケット、ポロシャツ、白のパンツを選択。ゲルジグさんはレバノンのブランド「MÔNOT」の白のミニドレスを選択し、ターコイズブルーの「ジミーチュウ」のヒールを合わせていた。
これには「美しすぎる」、「世界で一番美しい」、「気を失いそうだ」、「最も美しいカップル」、「息ができない」とその美しさに飲まれる人々が続出している。

ナイキの最新フットボールキャンペーン「Footballverse」のプロモーション映像が注目を集めている。
ナイキは16日、「全ての世代のアスリートがスポーツの歴史に名を残し、そのスポーツの世界を広げただけではなく、未来の世代のアスリートたちが自分達の爪痕を刻むことを励ましている」との主張のもと、「Footballverse」を展開。過去から現代に至るナイキの偉大なプレイヤーたちが主役となり、彼らが一つのピッチで競う世界を、想像力と遊び心を交えて描いた。
ストーリーはスイスのジュネーブにある秘密研究所を舞台とする。科学者たちは、現代のフランス代表FWキリアン・ムバッペと2006年のロナウジーニョ、どちらが優れているかという議論を発端に、「マルチバース」と呼ばれる仮想選手を召喚して実際に対戦させようと試みた。
フィルムには2人のほかに、元ブラジル代表のロナウド氏、ポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウドとその息子ジュニアくんや、アメリカ女子代表FWアレックス・モーガンなど10名を超えるナイキの契約アスリートが登場。は映画「ときめきサイエンス」のダニー・エルフマン作曲でオインゴ・ボインゴによる懐かしいサウンドトラックも採用されている。
新旧レジェンドの共演には「これまでに作成された最高のマルチバース!」、「涙がこぼれました」、「ナイキは常にコマーシャルで先を行っています」、「美しく壮大で記憶に残るコマーシャル!」といった大賛辞が寄せられた。
また、実在の登場人物のみならず、イナズマイレブンのキャラクター、豪炎寺修也も登場。「ゴウエンジが出てきてカッコいい」「GOUENJIが入っているだけで最高のサッカーCM」「みんなGouenjiを入れた」「豪炎寺修也、史上最高!」と、日本のゲームキャラクターには海外のファンからも熱い視線が注がれることとなった。

マドリー、ベルギー代表の守護神を務めるクルトワ。予てから交際していたイスラエル人モデルのミシェルさんに対して、2022年6月にプロポーズ。見事に成功させていた。
そのクルトワとミシェルさんは、アメリカの雑誌『ヴァニティ・フェア』の表紙を飾ることに。199cmの長身であるクルトワ、そして178cmの長身であるモデルのミシェルさんの2ショットは絵になり、さすがといったところだ。

▽リバプール所属のベルギー代表GKシモン・ミニョレは、自身がクラブの第2ゴールキーパーであることを認めないと主張した。イギリス『スカイ・スポーツ』が報じている。
▽ミニョレは、今夏にマインツから加入してきたGKロリス・カリウスがリーグ開幕直前に手を骨折したことにより、シーズン序盤は出場機会に恵まれていた。しかし、9月末にカリウスが復帰してからは、公式戦5試合連続でベンチを温めている。
▽9月17日に行われたプレミアリーグ第5節のチェルシー戦以降、出場機会がなかったミニョレだが、26日に行われたEFLカップ4回戦のトッテナム戦に出場すると、2-1の勝利に貢献した。
▽ミニョレは、トッテナム戦後のインタビューで自身が第2ゴールキーパーとは認めないことを主張しており、今後はもっと出場機会を得たいと考えているようだ。
「僕は、第2ゴールキーパーではいたくない。それははっきりしているよ。僕はもっと試合に出場したいんだ」
「レギュラー争いを決して諦めないよ。僕の性格上すぐに諦めることなんてできないからね。それに、僕はベンチに座っていられる状況ではないんだ。もう28歳だ。毎週毎週プレーしたいよ。だから僕は頑張るし、諦めることはしたくない。僕はこれを乗り越えられると思って挑戦し続けるよ」
▽しかし、最近になってリバプールの指揮官ユルゲン・クロップ監督が第1ゴールキーパーはカリウスであることを明言。そのことについて聞かれたミニョレは、以下のようにコメントした。
