国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)は19日、最新のFIFAランキングを発表した。
2024年は1181試合の国際試合が行われた中、11月からここまでの間には21試合のみが開催。そのため、ほとんどの順位に変動が起こらなかった。
上位30位までは変動なし。日本代表も15位をキープして2024年を終えることとなった。

元ドイツ代表MFアンドレ・シュールレ氏の現在の姿が話題だ。
シュールレ氏は、ドイツ代表として57試合に出場し22ゴールを記録したウインガー。2014年のブラジル・ワールドカップでは準決勝で2ゴール、1-0で勝利した決勝ではアシストを記録するなど、優勝に貢献していた。
クラブキャリアではマインツやレバークーゼン、チェルシー、ヴォルフスブルク、ドルトムント、フルアム、スパルタク・モスクワと渡り歩くと、2020年7月に29歳で早々の現役引退を発表していた。
そのシュールレ氏は自身のインスタグラムを更新。大雪が降る雪山をハーフパンツに靴とニット帽という格好で山登りに挑戦する自身の姿をアップした。
イギリス『サン』によると、これは様々な寒冷な環境に関わる記録をもち、「アイスマン (The Iceman)」の通称で知られるであるヴィム・ホフ氏が考案したチャレンジだという。
見ている側も凍えてくるようなチャレンジだが、シュールレ氏は1月に見事にチャレンジをクリアしていた。
シュールレ氏は、「1月にこの山に戻るのが待ちきれない。今年の初めは本当に人生を変える旅だった!この苦闘を乗り越え、この大雪のコンディションで頂上までたどり着けたことは、自分自身に再び挑戦し、あらゆる面でベストを目指して本当に努力するきっかけとなった!頑張ろう」と綴っており、2024年にもこのチャレンジを行うつもりのようだ。
早くにサッカーを離れたシュールレ氏だが、今も充実した人生を送っているようだ。

データおよびテクノロジーにおけるリーディングカンパニーの「ニールセン・グレースノート」が、オーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子ワールドカップ(W杯)に出場する選手のインフルエンサーとしてのランキングを発表した。
なでしこジャパンも出場する女子W杯。開幕までおよそ1カ月となった中で、各国の出場選手も決定している。
「ニールセン・グレースノート」は出場する選手の中での、インフルエンサーとしてのランキングを発表。フォロワーやフォロワーの増加、エンゲージメント率など、インスタグラム上の投稿ごとの平均ブランド価値を評価してランキングを発表した。
トップ10が発表され、実に9カ国の選手がランクイン。アメリカ女子代表のみが唯一2選手がランクインしている。
1位に輝いたのは、アストン・ビラでプレーするスイス女子代表のアリーシャ・レーマン。世界一セクシーなアスリートとしても知られ、インスタグラムのフォロワーは1340万人。元プロテニスプレーヤーのロジャー・フェデラーを超え、インスタグラムで最も人気のあるスイス人アスリートとなっている。
アストン・ビラでは2シーズンでFA女子スーパーリーグ(FAWSL)で43試合に出場し7ゴール。スイス代表としても38キャップを記録している。
2位には、バルセロナのエースでありスペイン女子代表のエースでもあるMFアレクシア・プテジャス。フォロワーは280万人であり、1位のレーマンがどれほどのフォロワーを抱えているかがわかる。

アーセナルへの完全移籍が決定したドイツ代表FWカイ・ハヴァーツが、チェルシーへ別れの手紙を送った。
28日、アーセナルはハヴァーツの獲得を発表。長期契約を締結し、背番号は「29」に決定した。
レバークーゼンのアカデミー育ちで、2016年にプロ契約。4シーズンで150試合に出場し46ゴール31アシスト。2020年夏にチェルシーへ加入すると、3シーズンで139試合32ゴール15アシストを記録。チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)、UEFAスーパーカップ、クラブ・ワールドカップと3つのタイトルを獲得してきた。
ドイツ代表でも35試合で13ゴールと中心的な活躍をしているハヴァーツ。チェルシーにCL優勝を手繰り寄せるゴールを決めたハヴァーツは、手紙という形で気持ちを伝えることに憤りを感じているとした。
「チェルシーを去ることについての僕の考えを、新たなチームに加わることについての考えよりも先に、まず僕自身から聞いて欲しかった」
「これは僕のスタイルではないし、このような形でみんなが聞かされなければならないことが腹立たしい」
「この手紙は、すべてのファンに向けて重い気持ちで書いている。大きなサポートをありがとう。チャンピオンズリーグ優勝という夢を一緒に達成できた!」
ただ、手紙ではこの3シーズンを振り返り、多くの感謝の気持ちを綴ることに。チェルシーへの思いを改めてファンに伝えている。

カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)では、日本代表とも対戦するドイツ代表だが、その“愛称”について議論がなされている。
2014年のブラジルW杯では優勝を果たしているドイツ代表。チームの愛称として「Die Mannschaft(ディー・マンシャフト)」が採用されている。
これはW杯制覇後の2015年にドイツ代表のマネージャーを務めるオリバー・ビアホフ氏が呼称として導入したもの。意味は「これがチームだ」というものだが、廃止の方向で話が進んでいる。
ドイツサッカー連盟(DFB)のベルント・ノイエンドルフ会長は、この呼称について終わる可能性があることを20日にコメント。7月末に結論を出すという。
「終わりが来る。7月末に責任機関の会合が開かれ、決定が確実に下される。終わりのない話には興味がない」
「今回の定性調査では、我々のイメージを固め、意見をまとめることができるはずだ。ただ、調査に依存することはない」
この言葉の生みの親とも言われるビアホフ氏は「我慢すれば良い」と会長の決定を受け入れることを示唆。日本と対戦するときにはもう使われない愛称となっていそうだ。

29日、アディダスとドイツサッカー連盟(DFB)はカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)に向けたユニフォームを発表した。
日本代表とグループステージで同居する2014年のW杯王者であるドイツ。同じアディダスがサプライヤーとなっている。
今回発表されたユニフォームは、ホームは男女の代表で共通で使用されることに。ドイツとしては統一したデザインが特別なものとなっている。
1908年のドイツ代表のユニフォームにインスパイアされ、ホワイトをベースに、中央にブラックの太い特徴的なストライプが入っているデザインとなっている。
アディダスのロゴとDFBのエンブレムは中央に配置され、色はゴールド。丸首の襟にはドイツの国旗のカラーが施され、肩のスリーストライプはブラックとなっている。
なお、パンツはブラック、ソックスはホワイトという配色となっており、日本代表のアウェイと同じ配色となる。
また、アウェイは男子専用。今までのミントグリーンのアウェイを女子は引き続き着用する。
男子のアウェイはレッドをベースにブラックの細いラインがボーダーで入った形に。アディダスのロゴ、DFBのエンブレム、背番号、肩のスリーストライプはゴールドとなっている。
新ユニフォームに関してファンは「とても素敵なユニフォームだ」、「ユニフォームが素敵すぎる」、「これはどっちも買うな」、「どっちかは絶対買う」、「最高だ」とホームもアウェイも高い評価を得ている。

国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)は19日、最新のFIFAランキングを発表した。
2024年は1181試合の国際試合が行われた中、11月からここまでの間には21試合のみが開催。そのため、ほとんどの順位に変動が起こらなかった。
