ヴィッセル神戸は1日、びわこ成蹊スポーツ大学のMF泉柊椰(いずみとうや/20)の2023シーズンからの加入内定を発表した。
なお、今シーズンは特別指定選手として承認されたとのことだ。
泉は大阪府出身で、神戸のU-18に在籍。びわこ成蹊スポーツ大学へと進学していた。

24日、明治安田生命J1リーグ第30節の清水エスパルスvsヴィッセル神戸がIAIスタジアム日本平で行われ、0-2で神戸が勝利を収めた。
清水は直近のベガルタ仙台戦で、実にリーグ戦9試合ぶりとなる勝利を手にした。しかし、降格圏とはわずか6ポイント差のため、残り9試合で少しでも多く勝ち点を積み上げておきたいところ。

イルハン・マンスズの名を覚えているだろうか。
今から20年前の2002年に日韓ワールドカップが開催。国中がサッカーに沸いた中、その中でもひと際注目を集めたのが、当時イングランド代表だったデイビッド・ベッカム氏だ。日本では“ベッカム・フィーバー”が巻き起こり、その髪型を模したモヒカンヘアーも流行った。
そして、もう1人“イケメン”として脚光を浴びたのがトルコ代表だったイルハンだ。
「イルハン王子」の愛称で女性を中心にファンを獲得し、テレビや雑誌でも特集がなされた。長髪をなびかせながら頭の上で髪の毛をとめるちょんまげスタイルにクシャっとした笑顔は多くの人のハートを撃ち抜いた。
ピッチの上でも、控えという立場ながら全7試合に出場すると、チーム最多の3得点をマーク。トルコの史上初の3位という結果に大きく貢献している。
そのイルハンは大会後の2004年にヴィッセル神戸へと加入。Jリーグでは負傷の影響もありほとんど出場機会もないまま、最終的には無断帰国という形での退団となったが、その意味でも記憶に残っている人はいるのではないだろうか。
現役引退後にはフィギュアスケーターへの転身も明らかになったイルハン。46歳になったイルハンのSNSを覗くとすっかり“イケオジ”になったようだ。
トルコ代表の公式SNSや現地のメディアなどは22日、「今から20年前、イルハンのゴールで代表が準決勝に進出」と当時を振り返っており、現地では、代表チームを史上初のW杯3位に導いた英雄として認識されているようだ。

6日、来日しているインテル・マイアミの来日記念パーティーが開催。集まった豪華メンバーに注目が集まっている。
元イングランド代表MFのデイビッド・ベッカム氏が共同オーナーを務めるメジャーリーグ・サッカー(MLS)のインテル・マイアミ。アルゼンチン代表FWリオネル・メッシをはじめ、ウルグアイ代表FWルイス・スアレス、元スペイン代表MFセルヒオ・ブスケッツ、DFジョルディ・アルバと元バルセロナの選手が多く所属している。
そのインテル・マイアミは、2024シーズンの開幕を前にプレシーズンツアーを実施。アル・ヒラル、アル・ナスルのサウジアラビア勢と戦った後、4日に香港選抜チームと対戦。7日には「Inter Miami in Tokyo 2024」にて国立競技場でヴィッセル神戸と対戦することとなっている。
6日の昼には、神戸戦に向けた記者会見も実施されていたなか、夜には来日記念パーティーが開催。「Inter Miami in Tokyo 2024」の公式X(旧ツイッター)がその様子を伝えている。
最高額は1人300万円というスペシャル・エクスペリエンス・シートのチケットを持っている一般の参加者もいる中、パーティーには、インテル・マイアミの選手だけでなく、メッシらとバルセロナでも一緒にプレーし、神戸でもプレーしていた元スペイン代表MFアンドレス・イニエスタ(現エミレーツ・クラブ)や神戸の三木谷浩史代表取締役会長の姿もあった。
豪華メンバーの集まりには、ファンも「ほぼバルサの同窓会じゃん」、「これは夢ですか?」、「当時のスタメン5人が式典に居るって凄いです」、「メンツえぐすぎる」とコメント。3冠達成を果たした2014-2015シーズンなどバルセロナの黄金期の主力を担った選手たちの再会に喜びの声を寄せている。

ヴィッセル神戸の元スペイン代表MFアンドレス・イニエスタの妻であるアンナ・オルティスさんが日本での驚きを綴った。
イニエスタは2018年の5月にバルセロナから神戸へと加入。Jリーグでも華麗なプレーを見せ続け、来日4シーズン目を迎えている中、一緒に日本で生活しているアンナさんが21日にSNSを更新した。
アンナさんは、神社の前で腰かけている自身の写真を添えながら、「日本は私たちに平和をもたらしてくれました...日本に住んで3年になりますが、私はいまだに外の澄んだ空気と人々が移動するときの静けさに驚いています」と心境をスペイン語と日本語の両方で伝えている。
アンナさんの投稿には、「これからも日本を楽しんで」、「日本を好きになってくれて、とっても嬉しいです」、「ご家族みんなで、いつまでも日本を満喫して欲しいと心から願っています」、「日本に来てくれてありがとう」と日本のファンからも多くの感謝のコメントが寄せられている。
2021年には神戸との契約を2年延長したイニエスタ。その背景には、日本生活の充実もあったのかもしれない。

ヴィッセル神戸のDF槙野智章が自身のインスタグラムを更新。全身神戸のユニフォームに身を包んだ1枚を披露した。
10年間在籍した浦和レッズを退団し、神戸へと完全移籍した槙野。いよいよ19日には新天地でのシーズン開幕を迎える。
キャンプ中も度々練習中の様子をSNSで公開していた槙野だが、「2022 This is MAKINO」と題して、全身を試合用ユニフォームに着替えた写真を投稿。バシッと決めていたが、「あれ?2枚目身体鍛えすぎ?」と写真の違和感を明かした。
よくよく見ると、2枚目の写真は槙野の肉体がパワーアップ。特に下半身はかなりの太さにボリュームアップしている。さらに背景までも大きくゆがんでおり、相当に画像を加工していたようだ。
同僚の日本代表FW武藤嘉紀も「ポパイかな?」と超人的パワーを出すキャラクターに例えると、ファンからも「盛り過ぎですよー」、「超サイヤ人ですね」、「ふくらはぎおかしい(笑)」、「やりすぎだよ」とツッコミが相次いだ。
別の加工していない投稿でも鍛え抜かれた太ももの太さが話題になっていた槙野。神戸でもその一挙手一投足から目が離せない。
