ブラジルの名門フルミネンセでエースに君臨するアルゼンチン人FW、ヘルマン・カノ(36)が金字塔を打ち立てた。
カノは南米・北中米を渡り歩く孤高のストライカー。母国ラヌースでそのキャリアを歩み出し、以後コロンビアにパラグアイと来て、メキシコでは強豪パチューカ、クラブ・レオンで活躍…コロンビア“復帰”を経て、2020年1月にブラジルへと足を踏み入れた。
世代別も含めてアルゼンチン代表歴の一切ないカノだが、その得点力には目を見張るものがある。
コロンビア1部のインデペンディエンテ・メデジン時代は公式戦196試合129得点、2020〜21シーズンに所属したヴァスコ・ダ・ガマでは101試合43得点、2022シーズンからプレーするフルミネンセでは132試合86得点…カノは2022年1月のフルミネンセ加入時点で33歳だ。
そんなカノ、8日に行われたリオデジャネイロ州選手権トーナメント)のサンパイオ・コレア戦で、ヴァスコ・ダ・ガマ時代とフルミネンセを合わせて通算「129」得点に到達。ブラジル『グローボ』によると、21世紀以降でブラジルにおける外国籍選手の歴代最多得点者になったという。
「128」得点の前記録はコリンチャンス、フラメンゴなどで活躍した元ペルー代表FWパオロ・ゲレーロ(40)。南米王者フルミネンセのアルゼンチン人エース・カノは、ブラジル移籍から4年ちょっとで、とてつもない数字を積み上げた。

鹿島アントラーズでもプレーしたブラジル人FWエヴェラウド(33)が、バイーアからフルミネンセへと完全移籍した。
メディカルチェックも完了しており、2026年末までの契約を締結。背番号は「9」を着用する。
エヴェラウドはグレミオの下部組織出身で、フィゲイレンセ、パイサンドゥ、アグア・サンタ、サンタ・クルスなどのブラジルクラブのほか、サウジアラビアやメキシコのクラブでもプレー。シャペコエンセを経て2020年に鹿島へと加入した。
2020年1月から3シーズンを鹿島で過ごし、公式戦通算101試合で34ゴール14アシストを記録。2023年1月にバイーアへと完全移籍していた。
これまでカンピオナート・ブラジレイロ・セリエA(ブラジル1部)では155試合で41ゴール6アシストを記録。この度フルミネンセに加入することが決定した。
エヴェラウドは「とても嬉しい」と語り、「フルミネンセのようなクラブに加入できたことは、僕のキャリアにおける大きな成果であり、この新たな挑戦にとても意欲的だ」と意気込み。「フルミネンセについて話すのは簡単だ。なぜならフルミネンセはとても大きなクラブであり、今年は重要な大会にも出場する。このプロジェクトに参加できて嬉しい。このシャツを誇るために全力を尽くす」と語った。
フルミネンセは、2023年のコパ・リベルタドーレス王者として、今年行われる新たなクラブ・ワールドカップ(W杯)に出場が決定。グループFに入っており、ドルトムント、蔚山HD FC、マメロディ・サンダウンズと対戦する。

ブラジル人指揮官のオズワルド・オリヴェイラ氏の変貌ぶりが現地で話題だ。
ブラジル複数クラブでの指導経験を持ち、2007年に就任した鹿島アントラーズでは、史上初となるJリーグ3連覇を達成したオリヴェイラ監督。2011年に退任して以降は、母国クラブやカタールでの指揮を経て、2018年4月に浦和レッズの監督に就任した。
浦和では天皇杯優勝を成し遂げたものの、2019年5月に解任。その後はフルミネンセに3度目の復帰を果たしたものの1カ月強で解任されると、それ以降はどのクラブも指揮していない。
現在73歳のオリヴェイラ氏は、14日に母国ブラジルのスポーツ番組に出演。以前より顔がふっくらした印象で、メガネを外した顔は別人のようだった。
ブラジル『CORREIO BRAILIENSE』によると、オリヴェイラ氏は1月に顔の若返り手術を実施したことで注目を浴びていたという。そして、今回の番組出演時にもまた別人のように顔が変わっていたことで、「誰か分からない」とSNS上で大きな話題になっているようだ。

フルミネンセは7日、チェルシーの元ブラジル代表DFチアゴ・シウバ(39)が完全移籍で加入することを発表した。チェルシーも公式にフルミネンセ移籍を発表している。
チアゴ・シウバはフルミネンセのアカデミーで育つと、2005年1月にジュヴェントゥージからポルトに移籍。ディナも・モスクワへと完全移籍すると、すぐにフルミネンセへとレンタル移籍で戻った。
2007年1月には短いヨーロッパでのキャリアを終えてフルミネンセに完全移籍で復帰。すると、2009年1月に加入したミランで大きく飛躍。世界最高峰のセンターバックとして評価され、2012年7月にパリ・サンジェルマン(PSG)へと完全移籍。2020年8月にチェルシーに完全移籍で加入した。
ミランで119試合6ゴール、PSGで315試合17ゴールを記録したチアゴ・シウバは、ベテランの域に入った中でもチェルシーで守備の軸に。4シーズン目を迎えている中、公式戦152試合で9ゴールを記録している。なお、2022-23シーズンはクラブの年間最優秀選手にも選ばれていた。
今シーズンもセンターバックとして開幕戦からフル稼働。一時試合から離れた時期もあった中、今シーズン限りでの退団が決定。フルミネンセと2年契約を結ぶこととなった。背番号は「3」になる。
チェルシーは今シーズンも苦戦が続いた中、シーズンは残り2試合に。スタンフォード・ブリッジで最終節のボーンマス戦後にチームを離れ、フルミネンセに完全移籍するという。なお、早くとも試合に出場するのは7月10日以降になるとのことだ。

フルミネンセが、元ブラジル代表DFチアゴ・シウバ(39)の再デビューから突如として守備が安定。低迷するチームに光が差した。
今夏チェルシーを契約満了で退団、長きにわたった欧州での選手キャリアを終え、カンピオナート・ブラジレイロ・セリエA(ブラジル1部)の古巣フルミネンセに帰還したT・シウバ。
9月で40歳を迎える大ベテランだが、昨季のチェルシーで示していた通り、目立った衰えはなし。フィジカルの衰えをずば抜けた経験値、また危機察知能力で補っている印象だ。
22日、クイアバとのブラジル1部第18節で、08年12月8日以来、およそ15年8カ月ぶりにフルミネンセでの公式戦出場となったなか、チームは1-0で勝利。T・シウバはさっそくゲーム主将を担い、フル出場でウノゼロ白星に貢献した。
さらに、中2日で迎えた25日の第19節・パウメイラス戦にもゲーム主将としてフル出場。フルミネンセはやはり1-0で勝利した。
実はフルミネンセ、王国ブラジルでも屈指の強豪として知られ、昨年は南米王者にも輝いているが、2024シーズンは大不振。T・シウバの再デビューまで、1勝5分け10敗と苦しんでおり、「6月全敗の6連敗」も。
そんなチームが、T・シウバが入った途端、今季リーグ戦初の無失点勝利に始まり、今季初の2連勝。現時点でも20チーム中19位と2部降格圏に沈むフルミネンセだが、39歳の英雄が劇薬となっている格好だ。
