ドイツサッカー界きってのカップルに、離婚の危機が迫っているようだ。ドイツ『ビルト』が伝えた。
そのカップルは、ドルトムントに所属するDFマッツ・フンメルス(32)とキャシーさん(33)の夫婦とのことだ。
『ビルト』によると、交際スタートから14年を迎えるカップルが別れることを決断したいとのこと。しかし、揉めて別れることは避けたいと考えているようだ。
2人の間には3歳になる息子のルートビヒくんがおり、彼の将来の幸せを考えているとのこと。妻のキャシーさんは「私たちの子供の幸せは、2人にとって常に最優先事項でした」と常々語っていた。
キャシーさんは、ミュンヘン近郊出身で、2007年にフンメルスと出会い、2008年にはドルトムントにフンメルスとともに移住。経済学を学び、テレビのレポーターなどを務めた。現在は、インフルエンサーや起業家として活躍しており、2020年には自身のうつ病を題材としたベストセラー本を出版している。
仲睦まじい夫婦として知られていた2人だったが、近年は公の場に姿を現わす機会が大きく減り、SNS上でも2人が一緒に写る写真が大幅に減ったという。
昨年10月には『ビルト』の取材に対して「別れてはいません。時に困難なことがあっても、自分自身に働きかけます。普通の夫婦と同じで、浮き沈みはあります」とキャシーさんは語っていた。
フンメルスとともにドルトムントへ来たキャシーさんは、2016年7月にフンメルスがバイエルンへと移籍した際にミュンヘンへ移住。しかし、2019年7月にドルトムントへと戻った時には、そのままミュンヘンに滞在。現在も別居状態が続いていた。
2人の関係の亀裂が報じられる一方で、キャシーさんのインスタグラムではyユーロ2020を戦う夫を支えるために、スタジアムに息子と訪れている姿がアップされているが、どういった結末を迎えるのだろうか。

データおよびテクノロジーにおけるリーディングカンパニーの「ニールセン・グレースノート」が、オーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子ワールドカップ(W杯)に出場する選手のインフルエンサーとしてのランキングを発表した。
なでしこジャパンも出場する女子W杯。開幕までおよそ1カ月となった中で、各国の出場選手も決定している。
「ニールセン・グレースノート」は出場する選手の中での、インフルエンサーとしてのランキングを発表。フォロワーやフォロワーの増加、エンゲージメント率など、インスタグラム上の投稿ごとの平均ブランド価値を評価してランキングを発表した。
トップ10が発表され、実に9カ国の選手がランクイン。アメリカ女子代表のみが唯一2選手がランクインしている。
1位に輝いたのは、アストン・ビラでプレーするスイス女子代表のアリーシャ・レーマン。世界一セクシーなアスリートとしても知られ、インスタグラムのフォロワーは1340万人。元プロテニスプレーヤーのロジャー・フェデラーを超え、インスタグラムで最も人気のあるスイス人アスリートとなっている。
アストン・ビラでは2シーズンでFA女子スーパーリーグ(FAWSL)で43試合に出場し7ゴール。スイス代表としても38キャップを記録している。
2位には、バルセロナのエースでありスペイン女子代表のエースでもあるMFアレクシア・プテジャス。フォロワーは280万人であり、1位のレーマンがどれほどのフォロワーを抱えているかがわかる。
2シーズン連続でUEFA年間最優秀女子選手、バロンドールを受賞。2021年にはFIFA最優秀女子選手賞を受賞している。
2022年にはスペイン女子初となる代表100キャップに到達。その後、前十字じん帯を損傷し女子ユーロは欠場していた。
3位は、サンディエゴ・ウェーブスに所属するアメリカ女子代表FWアレックス・モーガン。フォロワーは1000万人だが、増加率やエンゲージメント率が低く、価値は3位となった。
言わずと知れたアメリカのエースで、過去2度のW杯優勝を経験。2012年のロンドン・オリンピックでは金メダルを獲得している。アメリカ女子代表として200キャップ以上を記録し、120ゴール以上を決めている。
4位はOHレインに所属するカナダ女子代表のFWジョーディン・ホイテマ。160万人以上のフォロワー数を持っている。

ドイツ代表MFジョシュア・キミッヒが、日本代表戦を振り返った。ドイツ『RTL』が伝えた。
9日、国際親善試合でドイツは日本と対戦。ホームでの試合で、カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)のリベンジを目論んだ。
2大会連続のW杯グループステージ敗退という悲劇を味わったドイツ。しかし、2023年に入ってからチームはさらに低迷。新たなシステムや戦い方にトライをしているとは言いながらも、親善試合5試合で1勝しかできていない現実があった。
2024年のユーロは自国開催となり、予選を全く戦わないドイツ。W杯で敗れた悔しさを振り払うため、日本をホームに迎えたが、11分に伊東純也のゴールで先制を許す。
嫌な立ち上がりとなったドイツだが、19分に完璧な崩しからレロイ・サネのゴールで同点に。このまま押し込みたかったなか、22分に上田綺世にゴールを決められビハインドで前半を終える。
後半はボールこそ保持していくものの、ゴールに迫ることがなかなかできない。フィニッシュワークに移れないでいた中、90分に浅野拓磨にゴールを決められW杯の悪夢が再び。さらに、92分に田中碧とドイツでプレーする2人に息の根を止められ、4-1で敗戦となった。
直近2試合は3バックで戦いながらも連敗。この試合は4バックに戻し、右サイドバックとしてプレーしたキミッヒが試合後にコメント。何もできなかったと敗戦を認め、12日のフランス代表戦に気持ちを切り替えた。
「結論としては、当然の敗北だったということだ、僕たちには、彼らを苦しめる手段がほとんどなかった」
