セルティックは24日、江原FCの韓国代表FWヤン・ヒョンジュン(21)を完全移籍で獲得したことを発表した。
契約期間は2028年夏までの5年間となる。
既に江原FCが移籍を発表していた中、セルティックも発表。ヤン・ヒョンジュンは、2021年1月に江原FCへと加入。右ウイングを主戦場に、左ウイングやセンターフォワードでもプレーが可能。江原FCでは公式戦71試合で9ゴール5アシストを記録していた。
今シーズンもKリーグ1では21試合に出場し1ゴールを記録。カタール・ワールドカップ前には、韓国代表にも選出されたがプレーはなし。U-23韓国代表として2試合に出場している。
2022シーズンはKリーグの年間最優秀若手選手にも選ばれており、韓国代表FWオ・ヒョンギュと共演することとなる。
ヤン・ヒョンジュンはクラブを通じてコメントしている。

セルティックにとっては、オーストラリア代表FWマルコ・ティリオ、U-20ノルウェー代表MFオーディン・チアゴ・ホルムに続き、今夏3人目の補強となった。

セルティックは22日、ノルウェーのヴォレレンガからU-20ノルウェー代表MFオーディン・チアゴ・ホルム(20)を完全移籍で獲得したことを発表した。契約期間は2028年6月30日までの5年となり、背番号は「15」に決定した。
ブレンダン・ロジャーズ監督は、自身の最初の補強選手となった20歳の若武者への期待を語っている。

「彼は以前からクラブのスカウティングとリクルートシステムに入っていたプレーヤーだ。私は彼をよく観察し、クラブで大きなインパクトを与えられるプレーヤーだと信じている」

2019年にヴォレレンガでプロデビューを飾ったホルムは、ノルウェーの世代別チームで常に主力を担ってきた180cmのセントラルMF。これまでヴォレレンガでは公式戦76試合に出場し、6ゴール4アシストを記録。繊細なボールタッチとパスセンスに優れた司令塔タイプのMFは、リバプールのスペイン代表MFチアゴ・アルカンタラをロールモデルとしており、2017年からミドルネームにチアゴを使用している。
