今月16日、AFC U-23アジアカップ カタールの初戦、中国戦からパリ五輪出場権獲得のチャレンジが始まる。前回のコラムでも、DF陣の経験不足は否めないものの攻撃陣のタレントはバリエーションに富んでいて期待できるという原稿を書いた。そして先週と今週のJリーグを取材して、FC東京の松木玖生の新しい一面を見ることができて、その期待はさらに高まった。
松木といえば、青森山田高時代から、強靱なフィジカルと体幹の強さを生かした球際での勝負強さ、豊富な運動量と労を惜しまない献身的なプレーでチームに貢献してきたし、それはFC東京でも変わらない。そしてボランチのポジションから、時には意外性のある攻撃参加でゴールを決めたり、左足のロング、ミドルシュートで相手ゴールを脅かしたりしてきた。
そんな松木が、4月3日のJ1リーグ第6節の浦和戦では、荒木遼太郎と2トップに近い形で前線に起用された。すると、トップに張るのではなく変幻自在に左右に流れたり、落ちてきたりする荒木との絶妙のコンビネーションで攻撃陣をコントロール。とりわけ左サイドのFW俵積田晃太とSBバングーナガンデ佳史扶との相性は抜群で、意外性のあるパスで彼らの攻撃参加を引き出していた。
アウトサイドにかけたスペースへの絶妙なパスには「こんな技巧的なパスが出せるんだ」と感嘆してしまった。
試合は0-1とリードされた後半、左サイドで俵積田、佳史扶とつないだパスから荒木が同点弾。さらに松木のサイドチェンジを受けた俵積田のクロスをゴール前に走り込んだ松木がボレーで決めて逆転勝利を収めた。
そして4月7日の鹿島戦では、荒木がレンタル移籍のため起用できないものの、1トップに入った仲川輝人とトップ下の松木は好連係から難敵・鹿島に2-0の完勝を収めた。絶えずボールに触るわけではないが、効果的なサイドチェンジやスルーパスで味方を使う。これまでは、どちらかというと『使われる選手』と思っていたが、そのイメージは一新した。
先制点は左サイドからのふわりと浮かしたニアへのパスで仲川の今シーズン初ゴールを演出。そして後半アディショナルタイムにはMF原川力のヘッドによるインターセプトからのタテパスを簡単にさばいて2点目をお膳立てした。いずれも「肩の力の抜けた」ようなアシストに、松木の“変化"を感じずにはいられなかった。
彼をボランチからトップ下にコンバートし、前線には荒木を起用して松木の飛び出しを演出したピーター・クラモフスキー監督の采配は賞賛に値する。やっと1トップのドリブル突破任せのパターン化された攻撃スタイルから脱却できそうだ。
そんな松木を大岩剛監督はどのポジションで使うのか。攻守に効果的な選手だけに、使い出もあるだろうが、できれば攻撃的なポジションで使って欲しいところである。

28日に発売される女性ファッション誌『Oggi』の11月号が発売。全12ページで特集が掲載されている鹿島アントラーズの公式SNSでも撮影風景などを公開している。
今回の特集には、中田浩二C.R.Oの他、土居聖真、安西幸輝、三竿健斗、鈴木優磨、常本佳吾、荒木遼太郎が登場。選手たちはユニフォームを脱ぎ、ファッション誌ならではのモデル仕様に。衣装はもちろん、髪型などを整え、ピッチ上とは全く違う魅力を見せている。
爽やかなショットが数多くある一方、自身のスタイルを隠しきれない選手もいたようだ。安西と鈴木の2ショットでは、2人ともサングラスを着用。ともにTシャツの上にシャツアウターを羽織り、秋の装いだ。
ただ、2人ともパンツのポケットに手を突っ込みながらカメラをのぞき込んでいるが、その様子はさながらガンを飛ばしているようにも見えてしまう。
独自の路線を行く2人にはファンも反応。「んっ?チンピラいた」、「鈴木優磨イカつ!!」といった言葉が並んだ。
それでも、「すんごい楽しそう」、「かわいいっすね」、「帰り本屋さん行かなきゃ」、「ちょっと気になるから買うか」といった言葉も多くを占めており、応援している選手たちのピッチとは違う姿に期待を寄せているようだ。

横浜F・マリノスのFW宮市亮が、雑誌撮影の写真を投稿して話題だ。
今年の5月15日でJリーグ開幕から30周年を迎える中、様々な取り組みが実施。、開幕30周年を記念の1つとして、ファッション誌『NYLON JAPAN』とJリーグがコラボした。
別冊『NYLON SUPER』が30周年記念日の5月15日に2970円(税込)で発売されることに。J1全クラブの18選手が表紙を飾っており、内容でも特集が組まれている。
そんな中、宮市は4月27日発売のファッション誌『NYLON JAPAN』で『NYLON guys』の表紙(裏面)を務めることが決定。Jリーガーとしては初の出来事だという。
宮市は自身のインスタグラムに表紙の画像を投稿。また、中面では鹿島アントラーズのMF荒木遼太郎ともコラボしており、テーマである“近未来”感のある写真を投稿した。

鹿島アントラーズのMF荒木遼太郎の新たなシューズが話題となっている。
今シーズンから鹿島の10番を背負うこととなった荒木。2021シーズンは明治安田生命J1リーグで36試合に出場し10得点を記録。ベストヤングプレーヤー賞を受賞するなど、プロ2年目で飛躍を遂げた。
更なる活躍が注目される中、6日に行われた第3節の柏レイソル戦では今シーズンの初ゴールを記録。チームに勝利に貢献していた。
その荒木は自身のインスタグラムを更新。新たに手にしたスニーカーを公開したことが話題になっている。
荒木が投稿したのは「ナイキ」の「Air Jordan 1 High OG Rebellionaire」。ハイカットのスニカー。カシマスタジアムのピッチ脇で撮影された写真は絵になっている。
ゴールを決めた柏戦にもスタジアム入りする際に履いていたという荒木。お気に入りのようだ。
「最近ジョーダンのスニーカーかっこよくてお気に入りなんです。あまり履いたことなかったハイカットも履いてみたたら履き心地良くて最高です!!」
「3枚目分かりにくいですが、この前の試合の時に履いたので見てください」
しかし、このスニーカーは12日に発売されるモデル。一足先に手に入れたようで「うらやまし」、「かっこいい」、「私も欲しい」と羨望の声が多く集まった。
荒木にとっても今季初ゴールを決め、チームも勝利したこともあり縁起の良い一足に。荒木の足元にも注目だ。

鹿島アントラーズの選手たちがオフィシャルスーツ姿を披露。その姿が大反響を受けている。
レネ・ヴァイラー監督を新たに迎え、チームに改革を行っている鹿島。開幕から一定の結果を残し、試合数に差がある状況だが暫定3位につけている。
ここ数年開幕からつまづき、苦しいシーズンを送っていた中で好スタートを切ったチームだが、2022シーズンのオフィシャルスーツが発表。選手たちがSNSで写真を投稿しているが、大きな話題となっている。
鹿島のオフィシャルスーツは、オフィシャルサプライヤーの「ニューヨーカー」による特別仕様のもの。全選手、監督、そして選手を支えるクラブスタッフを採寸し、リクエストを取り入れて作られている。
色は「フォーマルブラック」という黒さを追求し、素材にカーボンを混ぜる事で深みのある黒色を表現している。
土居聖真は自身のインスタグラムで「今シーズンも「アントラーズ2022オフィシャルスーツ」を「NYオンラインで発売中」今年はブラックでスタイリッシュに」と投稿。自身のピンショットの他、モデルを務めた選手たちとのショットを披露。サングラスをかけた姿がかっこよく決まっている。
モデルには土居の他、荒木遼太郎、鈴木優磨、クォン・スンテ、ディエゴ・ピトゥカ、エヴェラウドの他、OBでCOOを務める中田浩二氏も務めている。
この投稿には「モデルさんみたいでめちゃめちゃカッコいい」、「本当は、皆さま芸能人なのでしょう?」、「めっちゃかっこいい」、「素敵すぎます」、「おしゃれすぎて映画のポスターかと思いました!」と称賛の声が集まっていた。
