13日、ブンデスリーガのケルンがクラブ創設75周年を迎えた。
1948年に2つのクラブが合わさって創設されたケルン。ブンデスリーガが発足した1963-64シーズンの初代王者でもある。
また、1977-78シーズンには、奥寺康彦氏の活躍もありブンデスリーガ2度目の優勝も経験。奥寺氏(1977-1980)だけでなく、槙野智章(2011-2012)、大迫勇也(2014-2018)、長澤和輝(2014-2016)と4人の日本人選手が在籍した。
ケルンは、クラブ創設75周年を祝って特別ユニフォームを制作。無地の白をベースに、袖口と襟元に赤をあしらっている。また、クラブのエンブレムは1970年から80年代にかけて使われていた古いバージョンのものが採用され、色付きのヤギがデザインされている。
12日に行われたブンデスリーガ第20節のフランクフルト戦で早速新ユニフォームを着用。ケルンは3-0で勝利を収めている。
