野戦病院状態のリバプール、オプションは限られても南野先発は困難…?首位レスター戦予想スタメン

主力選手たちが次々と離脱し、野戦病院状態のリバプール。代表ウィーク明けの22日に行われるリーグ首位のレスター・シティ戦ではどのような布陣で臨むのか、予想してみた。 <div style="text-align:center;"><img src="https://image.ultra-soccer.jp/800/img/2020/lfc_possible_eleven.jpg" style="max-width: 100%;"></div><div style="text-align:right;font-size:x-small;"><hr></div> 守備の要であるDFヴィルヒル・ファン・ダイクに続き、相方DFジョー・ゴメスをも長期離脱で失ってしまったリバプール。DFトレント・アレクサンダー=アーノルドの離脱に加え、代表戦後、DFアンドリュー・ロバートソンもハムストリングに問題を抱えるなど、最終ラインが崩壊している。 DFジョエル・マティプの復帰が唯一の救いではあるものの、最終ラインのオプションは限られているだろう。CBには、チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)でチャンスを与えられた19歳のDFリース・ウィリアムズや昨夏オランダから獲得した18歳のDFセップ・ファン・デン・ベルフら、若きタレントも揃うが、ウィリアムズが腰に違和感があるという報道もあり、マティプ自身もケガ明けであることを考えれば、経験値で他の2人を上回るDFナサニエル・フィリップスとコンビを組むと考えるのが順当だ。右SBには、昨シーズンから可能性を感じさせるプレーを見せる、DFネコ・ウィリアムズが入ることが濃厚だ。左SBでは、負傷の“疑いあり”とされるロバートソンが、リスクを負っても先発する可能性は捨てきれないが、負傷者続出の現状を考えれば、リスクを冒さず、今夏ギリシャから獲得したDFコンスタンティノス・ツィミカスにチャンスが与えられる可能性が高い。待望の左SBのバックアップ要因としてリバプールに加入したツィミカスは、ケガで出遅れたものの、CLのアタランタ戦では途中交代で出場を果たしている。 MFファビーニョや新戦力のMFチアゴ・アルカンタラの負傷に加え、主将であるMFジョーダン・ヘンダーソンも故障者リスト入りしてしまった中盤だが、頼れるベテランMFジェームズ・ミルナーや、代表戦で調子の良さを見せたMFジョルジニオ・ワイナルドゥムやMFナビ・ケイタがプレー可能だ。また、成長著しい生え抜きのMFカーティス・ジョーンズもオプションの1つと数えられるなど、ある程度の層の厚さを確保できている。新型コロナウイルス(COVID-19)の陽性反応により、レスター戦の欠場が決定しているFWモハメド・サラーを除いては、負傷者を出していない前線では、サラーの代わりに、絶好調の新戦力FWジオゴ・ジョタが右ウイングで出場することが濃厚だ。気になるFW南野拓実だが、今回の代表戦では、パナマとの親善試合で決勝点となるPKを決めたものの、敗れたメキシコ戦では、途中出場もインパクトを残せずと、現在も調子の波に乗り切れていない。ここまでプレミアリーグでの先発はまだなく、リーグ戦0ゴール0アシストと、ジョタに比べてややインパクトを残すことに苦しんでいる南野が、ジョタを抑えてサラーの代わりにウイングのポジションで出場するとは考えにくいだろう。また、試合中に流動的にポジションを変えることはあっても、ここまで出場した試合では、 [4-3-3]の前線3枚の中央、FWロベルト・フィルミノのポジションでの出場が基本の形だ。南野は貴重な戦力と見なされていることに疑いはないが、あくまでも“フィルミノの代役”となる中央のポジションでの役割を期待されていると言えるため、フィルミノが負傷していない現在、スタメンに食い込むのは困難だと予想される。シェフィールド・ユナイテッド戦やマンチェスター・シティ戦では、[4-2-3-1]の布陣を披露したリバプール。この新布陣でレスター戦に臨んだ場合、CFまたはトップ下に南野が入る可能性は0ではないが、前述の2試合では、サラーがワントップのポジションに入り、トップ下にはフィルミノ、そして右ウイングにジョタが入るという布陣を採用していた。しかし、ワントップでも仕事ができるサラーの欠場が決定している今、基本の形である[4-3-3]の布陣を崩してまでも、サラーの代わりに、タイプの違うフィルミノをワントップに押し上げて、南野をトップ下で、もしくはその逆で、南野がサラーの代わりにワントップに入る可能性は低いだろう。ジョタはワントップに入ることもできるが、その場合、代わりに右のウインガーとして南野が出場するのは難しい。南野が出場できる可能性が最も高いのは、ユルゲン・クロップ監督が、リーグ戦でほぼフル稼働しているフィルミノを休ませた場合となるが、フィルミノに休養を取らせるとしても、リーグ首位を走るレスターとの負けられない試合ではなく、25日に控えたCLグループステージ、アタランタ戦と考えるのが自然だ。昨シーズンに30年ぶりのリーグ優勝を果たしたリバプール。リーグ王者として初めて臨む今季は、難しいシーズンとなりそうだ。そして、南野がチームの主力に定着するには、もう少し時間と結果を要するはずだ。 2020.11.22 18:30 Sun
