「上手くね?」「箸使えるのすごい」G大阪の助っ人FWジェバリ、巧みな箸使いで寿司を食べる姿にファン驚愕&期待「もう日本人やん!」

ブライトン&ホーヴ・アルビオンのエクアドル代表MFモイセス・カイセド(21)が、冬のアーセナル移籍について初めて語った。イギリス『テレグラフ』が伝えた。 2021年2月にインデペンディエンテからブライトンに完全移籍で加入したカイセド。2021年8月にはFW鈴木武蔵(ガンバ大阪)が所属していたベールスホットへレンタル移籍。2022年1月にブライトンに復帰していた。 21歳の若さながら、その能力は高く評価され、今シーズンはプレミアリーグで28試合に出場し1ゴール1アシスト。数字こそ残っていないが、チームの中盤に違いをもたらしている。そのカイセドは冬の移籍市場で多くの関心が寄せられ、リバプールやチェルシーなどのビッグクラブが興味。その中で、アーセナルへの移籍がかなり濃厚と見られていた。アーセナルも19年振りのプレミアリーグ優勝に向けて本気で獲得に動き、ブライトンへは何度もオファー。6000万ポンド(約100億円)のオファーが断られると、7000万ポンド(約117億円)に金額を上げたものの、ブライトンは手放すことを認めなかった。この移籍では、カイセド自身もトランスファーリクエストを出すこととなり、確実にチームを去るかと思われたが、ブライトンが首を縦に振らず、アーセナルもマネーゲームを行わない方針から断念した。カイセドは移籍を望みながらも残留し、さらには2027年夏までの契約延長を結ぶこととなったが、初めてこの移籍について言及。「僕は本当に行くところだった。そしてたくさん苦しんだ」とコメントした。若さもあり、能力も高く、ビッグクラブは今後も注視することは間違いないカイセド。「より多くの機会があると信じている。だから、僕は上手くやっていこうと思っている」と自身のパフォーマンスに集中するとしたが、アーセナル移籍破談はかなりインパクトがあったようで、「でも大変だった。行かないことが決まった当初、インスタグラムでたくさんの人からからかわれた。僕を酷い扱いにした。SNSはチェックしなかったんだ。見ると傷つくからね」と、SNSでは多くのメッセージが寄せられたと明かした。そもそもカイセドは移籍に関係なくアーセナルのことをよく見ていたという。「僕はアーセナルと契約する可能性があることを知る前に、多くのアーセナルの試合を観ていた。彼らを見ていて、好きだった」「なぜなら、彼らにはとても若くて才能のある選手と、何人かのスターがいるからだ。でも、彼らは常に多くを要求するという考え方を持っている」 21歳ということで、アーセナルを牽引するイングランド代表FWブカヨ・サカ、ブラジル代表FWガブリエウ・マルティネッリらとは同じ年齢。20代半ばまでの選手がレギュラーの大半で、若いチームであることに関心を寄せていたという。とはいえ、移籍は実現せず。その後ブライトンに戻ることとなったが、その時に歓迎されたことは忘れないとした。「みんな僕をサポートしてくれた。僕が戻ってきた時、彼らは再び歓迎してくれたんだ。まるで家にいるかのようだったし、とても嬉しかった」「みんなが僕を支えてくれた、そして、僕はトレーニングを再開し、彼らを助けたいという意欲に満ちていた」移籍を希望するのであれば、ブライトンと契約を延長する必要はなかったカイセド。「このチームは僕にドアを開けてくれたし、新しい契約をオファーしてくれた。だから、僕はサインした」と契約延長に至った理由も語った。とはいえ、夏にも市場では注目を集めることになるであろうカイセド。「今はブライトンで本当に良いシーズンを過ごしたい。シーズンを上手く締めくくり、本当に良いプレーを見せる。それから来シーズンのことは見てみよう」と、まずは残りシーズンに集中するとコメント。ただアーセナルのプレミア優勝については「もちろん」と優勝を願っていると語った。 2023.04.21 23:00 Fri
