バルセロナはゴールキーパーの補強優先度を上げているようだ。スペイン『Relevo』が報じた。
ドイツ代表GKマルク=アンドレ・テア・シュテーゲンの長期離脱により、引退していた元ポーランド代表GKヴォイチェフ・シュチェスニーと急きょ契約を交わしたバルセロナ。ハンジ・フリック監督はスペイン人GKイニャキ・ペーニャを優先しているが、シュチェスニーも有事に備えベンチに控えている。
そんなベテランGKとは今シーズン限りの契約を交わしたバルセロナだが、来シーズンはともにしない方針とのこと。また、契約が2026年6月までのペーニャも将来は不透明だという。
さらに、右ヒザに重傷を負ったテア・シュテーゲンがどこまでコンディションを戻せるかも懸念材料。スポーツ・ディレクター(SD)のデコ氏はここ数週間、GK補強に向け動いているようだ。
これまで補強優先度の高かった守備的ミッドフィルダーには、U-21スペイン代表MFマルク・カサドとU-17スペイン代表MFマルク・ベルナルが台頭。ベルナルに関しては長期離脱中だが、このポジションの補強は除外したという。
GK補強の本命はポルトのポルトガル代表GKジオゴ・コスタ(25)。クラブとの契約を2027年6月まで残し、契約解除金は7500万ユーロ(約124億2000万円)に設定されているようだが、ポルトの芳しくない財政状況やSDを務める元バルセロナGKアンドニ・スビサレッタ氏の存在から、大幅な値下げも可能と踏んでいるようだ。

バルセロナへの加入が噂されている元ポーランド代表GKヴォイチェフ・シュチェスニー(34)だが、バルセロナ入りには条件があるようだ。
2023-24シーズン限りでユベントスを退団。1年前倒して契約を解除すると、サウジアラビアなどへの移籍も噂されたなか現役引退を決断したシュチェスニー。しかし、引退から2カ月ほど経ち、自身の立場が大きく変わろうとしている。
バルセロナは、ドイツ代表GKマルク=アンドレ・テア・シュテーゲンが正守護神を務めていたが、22日に行われたラ・リーガ第6節のビジャレアル戦で右ヒザの膝蓋腱を断裂。手術を受けて成功したものの、約8カ月の離脱となり、今季中の復帰は難しいと見られている。
正守護神を失うこととなったバルセロナ。イニャキ・ペーニャがいるものの、経験の少ない選手が多く、クラブは新たな守護神探しに。フリーの選手が対象となるなか、シュチェスニーの獲得に動いているとされている。
一部の報道では26日にもメディカルチェックを受けるとされていたが、バルセロナはこの噂を否定。今のところ予定がないとのことで、すぐには問題は解決しないようだ。
そんな仲、ジャーナリストのジョフレ・マテウ氏が、スペイン『SER』の番組「Qué t'hi jugues」でこの件について言及。ポーランド代表でも共に戦ったFWロベルト・レヴァンドフスキが熱心に誘ったなか、電話での会話が問題となっているようだ。
「私が聞いたところによると、レヴァンドフスキとシュチェスニーの間で電話をしたようで、シュチェスニーは今の立ち位置に満足していると語ったようだ」
「ただ、彼は、先発できないのであればバルサに入らないといった。ベンチに座るという結果にはなりたくないようだ」
一度引退を決断したシュチェスニー。ポジションが約束されない限りは現役復帰をするつもりがないと態度を明確化した様子。バルセロナは、イニャキ・ペーニャを育てたい意向もある中で、ベテランにポジションを約束するかどうかがポイントとなりそうだ。
ハンジ・フリック監督は経験豊富なGKを求めていること自体は名言。シュチェスニーの名前は出していないが、バックアップとして考えているのか、それとも正守護神として考えているのか。バルセロナの意向がシュチェスニーの去就に大きく関わってきそうだ。

バルセロナは18日、2024-25シーズンの新ユニフォームを発表した。
チャビ・エルナンデス監督が率いた2023-24シーズンはラ・リーガで2位で終わったものの、チームは不安定な戦いを見せていた。
シーズン途中に突如として退任を口にしたチャビ監督は、一度はクラブと話し合って続投となっていたものの、結局は退任。ハンジ・フリック監督が新たに就任し、新シーズンを迎える。
その2024-25シーズンは、クラブの125周年を祝うシーズンに。ユニフォームはクラブのレガシー、歴史、そして始まりにインスピレーションを得てデザインされた。
クラブの起源を称えるため、1899年のファーストチームのキットを参考に作成され、センターで2色に別れることに。クラブのカラーであるブラウグラナ(青色とえんじ色)が分かれている。
胸スポンサーのSpotify、そしてナイキのロゴはマロンカラーに。クラブのエンブレムはセンターに配置されている。
新ユニフォームを伝える映像にはレジェンドの1人である元ブラジル代表FWロナウジーニョやヴィッセル神戸でもプレーした元スペイン代表MFアンドレス・イニエスタ、元スペイン代表DFカルレス・プジョールらが登場。さらには現役選手であるスペイン代表MFペドリやMFガビ、FWラミン・ヤマルらも登場した。
ファンは「完璧なムービー」、「これは誰でも鳥肌が立つだろう」、「誇り高きバルセロナ」と映像に反応。ユニフォームは「とてもカッコ良い」、「素晴らしいでき」、「結構好き」と好評価。しかし、中央にエンブレムが入り、左胸が空いていることに違和感を覚える声が多く、「バランスが悪い」、「中央に来ていること以外は問題ない」、「センターにロゴがある以上何も言いたくない」と最近増えている中央にクラブのエンブレムが来ていることは不評のようだ。

バルセロナのカンテラに所属する注目の“いとこコンビ”が偉業を成し遂げた。
バルセロナのリザーブチームで、スペイン3部に所属するバルサ・アトレティック(前バルセロナB)。
7日にホームでプリメーラ・フェデラシオン第3節のオウレンセ戦を戦ったチームでは、U-17スペイン代表FWトニ・フェルナンデス、同MFギジェ・フェルナンデスの16歳いとこコンビが偉業を成し遂げた。
1点リードで迎えた前半41分、中央で味方とパス交換してゴール前に侵入したトニは低空の見事な左足ジャンピングボレーを右隅に叩き込む。この直後の45分にはボックス中央でトニから横パスを受けたギジェが右足を振ると、ブロックを試みた相手DFにもディフレクトしたシュートがゴール右隅に突き刺さった。
このゴールは2人にとってバルサ・アトレティックでの初ゴールとなったが、いずれも年少記録を更新するモノとなった。
