ローマは18日、2024-25シーズンの新ユニフォームを発表した。
2023-24シーズンはシーズン途中にジョゼ・モウリーニョ監督が退任し、ダニエレ・デ・ロッシ監督が就任したローマ。チームは6位でフィニッシュし、新シーズンのヨーロッパの大会出場を決めている。
そのローマは、アディダスと共に新ユニフォームを発表。カンポ・テスタッチョの時代からインスピレーションを得ている。
カンポ・テスタッチョは、ローマ発祥の地でありホームスタジアムだった場所の名前。1929年11月3日に最初の試合が行われ、ブレシアと対戦した。
当時に思いを馳せ、今からおよそ90年前の1933-34シーズンに使われたシーズンチケットのカラーリングを採用。ダークレッドとゴールドをユニフォームに使用した。
デザインは非常にシンプルなものとなっており、ボディはダークレッドに、ゴールドの細いストライプが5本入り、さらに濃い赤のストライプが間に入っている。
肩に入るアディダスのスリーラインや右胸のアディダスロゴはゴールドで施され、左胸のクラブロゴはユニフォームと同じカラーリングで統一されている。
男女共に同じユニフォームを着用するため、なでしこジャパンのDF熊谷紗希、DF南萌華もこのユニフォームを着用。モデルにはアルゼンチン代表FWパウロ・ディバラや、イタリア代表MFロレンツォ・ペッレグリーニ、コートジボワール代表DFエヴァン・エンディカ、MFエドアルド・ボーヴェらがモデルを務めた。
ファンは新ユニフォームに「これはカッコいい」、「リークのよりも断然良く見える」、「選手が着るとヤバい」、「美しい色合い」、「素晴らしい出来」とコメント。また、お決まりのポーズを取ったディバラには「カッコ良すぎる」、「最高だ」、「いつまでも愛してる」と、絶賛の声が集まっている。

フランクフルトは7日、フランス人DFエヴァン・エンディカ(23)が契約満了で退団することを発表した。
2018年に母国のオセールからフランクフルトに加入したエンディカは、192cmの左利きのセンターバック。ここまでは3バックの左や左サイドバックを主戦場に公式戦183試合に出場し、12ゴール10アシストの数字を残している。
攻守両面で粗削りもアスリート能力が非常に高く、全盛期の元フランス代表DFサミュエル・ユムティティを彷彿とさせるプレースタイルの持ち主だ。
エンディカの退団について、フランクフルトのマルクス・クレーシェSD(スポーツ・ディレクター)は、公式サイトで以下のようにコメントしている。
｢我々はエヴァンが今後もアイントラハト・フランクフルトに残ることを望んでいたので、彼が去ることはとても残念だ。彼の今後の活躍を祈っているよ｣

ファビオ・カペッロ氏が古巣ローマを評価した。
御年77歳のカペッロ氏。美しき90年代を知るカルチョファンには、セリエA優勝4回、チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)優勝1回、CL3年連続決勝進出などの功績を残したミラン指揮官時代が印象深いところだが、2000-01シーズンにはローマを率いて18年ぶりスクデットも成し遂げている。
つまるところ、ローマは中田英寿氏やフランチェスコ・トッティ氏、ヴィンチェンツォ・モンテッラ氏、ヴァンサン・カンデラ氏らを擁し、カペッロ氏が指揮を執ったこの00-01シーズンを最後に、スクデットから遠ざかっている。
それでもローマ最後のスクデットから22年、イタリア『ガゼッタ・デッロ・スポルト』のインタビューに応じたカペッロ氏は、現チームを率いるジョゼ・モウリーニョ監督を称えている。
「彼は指導者キャリアにおいて数々のシチュエーションを経験してきた百戦錬磨の男だ。困難な状況から抜け出したいとき、その存在が役に立つ。経験値とカリスマ性を兼ね備えたコーチは、選手が快適にプレーできるようサポートできるのだ」

ローマは試合中に胸部の痛みを訴え病院に搬送されたコートジボワール代表DFエヴァン・エンディカについて、現時点での見解を発表した。クラブ公式サイトが伝えている。
エンディカは14日にスタディオ・フリウーリで行われたセリエA第32節のウディネーゼ戦で先発。しかし、1-1のスコアで迎えた70分過ぎに突如としてピッチへ座り込み、胸の痛みを周囲に訴えた。
主審は速やかに試合中断の措置をとり、エンディカは担架でピッチを後に。ローマ側はチームの動揺からプレー続行が不可能であると訴え、ウディネーゼ側も了承したことで試合中止が決定された。
その後、エンディカはスタジアム近くの病院に搬送されたが、クラブは心電図検査など幾つかの検査を行った結果、心臓に異常は見られなかったと説明。現時点では、肺気胸を伴う胸部外傷だろうとのことだ。
エンディカはすでに退院となったが、今後ローマでさらなる追加検査が実施される予定。クラブは慎重に検査を進めたい意向を示している。
なお、ローマは声明の中で、試合中止に同意してくれたウディネーゼや、適切な対応を取ってくれた審判団、協力的な姿勢を示してくれたファン、搬送先の病院のスタッフに対する感謝も表明。選手の命を守るための適切な行動ができたことに安堵している。

マルセイユのアルゼンチン代表DFレオナルド・バレルディ(26)がローマ移籍に関心を示しているようだ。イタリア『ガゼッタ・デッロ・スポルト』が報じている。
元ドイツ代表DFマッツ・フンメルスが今シーズン限りで退団し、ガラタサライからレンタル加入中のデンマーク代表DFヴィクトル・ネルソンの買い取りの可否、コートジボワール代表DFエヴァン・エンディカにも流出の可能性が報じられているローマ。
今夏の移籍市場ではセンターバック補強が優先事項に挙げられるなか、マルセイユのキャプテンの獲得に動いているようだ。
報道によれば、バレルディは、ローマでプレーする代表の先輩であるFWパウロ・ディバラとMFレアンドロ・パレデスから強力なサポートを受けているという。そして、選手自身もこのチャンスを熱望し、夏の移籍に同意。両クラブ間の交渉もすでに始まっている模様だ。
