移籍市場に精通するジャーナリストのファブリツィオ・ロマーノ氏によれば、移籍金は900万ユーロ(約14億6000万円)程度になるという。
母国の名門コリチーバから昨年1月にヴィトーリアへ完全移籍したカイオ。右ウイングを主戦場とする左利きのアタッカーは、昨夏正式加入となったポルトガルのクラブでここまで公式戦33試合4ゴール8アシストの数字を残していた。
168cmと上背はないものの傑出したアジリティと左足の精度に優れており、細かなステップを駆使したドリブルとチャンスメークに優れる逸材アタッカーだ。
