フェイエノールトと契約延長のベーレン
フェイエノールトは24日、オランダ人DFトーマス・ベーレン(23)との契約を延長した。契約は元々、2027年夏まで残す状況だったが、新たに1年延長。2028年夏までデ・カイプでプレーする運びとなった。
190cmのサイズを誇るセンターバックで、昨夏にPECズヴォレからフェイエノールトにステップアップ移籍。シーズン当初こそベンチに回る試合もあったが、折り返しのあたりから序列を上げ、最終的に公式戦26試合の出場数をマークし、KNVBカップ制覇の決勝でもプレーした。
日本代表FW上田綺世と同じく昨夏に加入からして間もないものの、新たな契約にサインしたベーレンは「契約延長の申し出はありがたいことだし、とにかく良い気分だ」と喜びの心境を明かし、決意を新たにした。
「ここを正しい場所だと感じる。この半年でたくさんプレーしながら、素晴らしい経験をして、カップ戦を優勝した。来季はまたチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)に出るし、争っていきたい。その挑戦が本当に楽しみだ。それと、昨季に応援してくれたサポーターのみんな。デ・カイプでプレーすること、そしてそこで彼らと会えるのを楽しみにしているよ」

上田綺世も着用、フェイエノールトがロッテルダムの街の色を参考にした3rdユニフォームを発表!
