離脱中ネイマールの復帰を古巣サントスが画策? クラブ会長自ら交渉「ここに戻ってくるだろう」

サントス復帰という選択肢が出てきたネイマール

サントスがアル・ヒラルのブラジル代表FWネイマール(32)の復帰を企てているようだ。イギリス『デイリー・メール』が伝えた。

2013年夏にサントスからバルセロナへ移籍し、2017年夏からはパリ・サンジェルマン(PSG)でプレーしたネイマール。昨夏はサウジ・プロ・リーグのアル・ヒラルへと移籍したが、昨年10月の代表戦で左ヒザ前十字じん帯断裂および半月板損傷の重傷を負い、新天地での出場は5試合にとどまっている。

今夏のコパ・アメリカ2024も欠場する見通しの中、復帰に向けリハビリに励んでいるネイマールは、2023シーズンに史上初の2部降格を経験した古巣サントスを訪問。7日のカンピオナート・パウリスタ第6節コリンチャンス戦をスタンド観戦したことが報じられていた。

サントス会長のマルセロ・テイシェイラ氏はそんなネイマールの再加入を望んでおり、すでに話し合いを始めたとのこと。前向きな感触があったようで、いずれの帰還をほのめかしている。

「(ネイマールとの)会話はとても手短なものだったが、良い結果を期待できるのはいつだって手短な会話だ」

「ここに戻ってプレーするには、ケガからしっかり回復する必要がある。彼はサウジアラビアで引き続き経験を積み、それからここに戻ってくるだろう」

なお、積極補強を進めているアル・ヒラルは選手枠のやりくりに苦労しており、他の海外選手を登録するため離脱中のネイマールを一時選手登録から外している状況。ネイマールとの契約は2025年6月までで、1年の契約延長オプションも付帯しているが、放出するメリットも存在するようだ。

アル・ヒラルがブラジルの逸材FWを64億円で獲得! サントスの大先輩ネイマールとの共演に期待
