リーベル・プレートは2日、ウェストハムの元アルゼンチン代表MFマヌエル・ランシーニ(30)をフリートランスファーで獲得したことを発表した。
ランシーニはリーベルの下部組織育ちで、2010年7月にファーストチームに昇格。2011年7月にフルミネンセへレンタル移籍すると、2014年8月にUAEのアル・ジャジーラへと完全移籍する。
2015年7月にウェストハムにレンタル移籍すると、2016年7月に完全移籍。以降7シーズンにわたってプレーを続けた。
ウェストハムではレンタル時代も含めて公式戦226試合に出場し32ゴール28アシストを記録。2022-23シーズンはプレミアリーグで10試合1ゴールに終わり、ヨーロッパ・カンファレンスリーグ(ECL)でも9試合2ゴールを記録したが、準々決勝2ndレグ以降は起用されず。シーズン終了と共に退団していた。

アルゼンチンでプレーする日本人3選手が揃い踏み!リーベル筆頭に新天地のウエアで登場
