ベンフィカの元ドイツ代表MFユリアン・ヴァイグルが、ドルトムント時代を回想した。ドイツ『キッカー』が伝えている。 ヴァイグルは2015年夏に1860ミュンヘンからドルトムントへ加入。当初は無名の存在だったが、トーマス・トゥヘル監督(現チェルシー指揮官)の下で主軸に抜擢さ飛躍を遂げた。 トゥヘル監督がクラブから去った後も主力としてチームを支えたが、クラブでの序列は徐々に低下。こうした状況を受け、2020年12月に移籍金2000万ユーロ(現レートで約25億7000万円)でベンフィカに完全移籍を果たした。 ベンフィカでは出場機会に恵まれない時期もあったが、今シーズンは主力として公式戦30試合に出場。チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)ではバルセロナを上回り決勝トーナメント進出を果たすなど、充実の時間を過ごしている。 ドイツ『キッカー』のインタビューに応じたヴァイグルはドルトムント時代を振り返り、トゥヘル監督との関係に言及。同時に、加入当初でまだ無名だった時代のエピソードを明かした。 「彼は僕のキャリアの中で、とても重要な監督だった。ドルトムントに加入する前は、1860ミュンヘンから段階的にステップアップしようと思い、代理人と一緒にクラブを探していたんだ。フライブルクやマインツとも接触していたよ。そうしたら、そこにビッグなドルトムントが声をかけてきた」 「トーマス・トゥヘルと話をしたとき、彼はまず僕が選手としてどうあるべきかを説明してくれたよ。それがとても印象的だったね。そして、僕には試合に出られるチャンスがあると言ってくれた」 「ドルトムントに来てすぐ、ジャージを買おうと思ってファン・ストアに行ったんだ。そこで、『選手割引はありますか』と尋ねると、「どこでプレーしているの? ユース? リザーブリーグ?』って聞かれたよ。誰も僕のことは知らなかったね」 また、ヴァイグルは2015-16シーズンのブンデスリーガで「218」のボールタッチを記録し、元スペイン代表MFのシャビ・アロンソ氏が持っていたブンデスリーガ最多ボールタッチ数を更新したことに言及。現在も破られていない記録について、誇りに思っていると語った。 「あの時は試合中そのことにまったく気づかなかった。今でもよく聞かれるし、もちろん誇りに思っているよ。シャビ・アロンソは僕にとってのお手本だからね。そしてもし、誰かが僕に追いつくことがあるなら、その人物はそれに値するということだ」 2022.01.25 18:46 Tue

イングランド代表、ラトビア戦で外れる2名が決定…トゥヘル監督「最も才能のある26人の選手ではなく、適切なチームを見つけること」
イングランド代表のトーマス・トゥヘル監督が、ラトビア代表戦で外れる3名を決定した。 トーマス・トゥヘル監督が就任したイングランド代表。21日には初陣で2026年北中米W杯の欧州予選のアルバニア代表戦を行い勝利を収めていた。 トゥヘル監督にとっての初陣で白星となった中、第2戦のラトビア戦が開催。26名の選手を招集していた中で、ベンチ入り23名を再び選ぶこととなった。 アルバニア戦では、GKアーロン・ラムズデール(サウサンプトン)、MFモーガン・ギブス=ホワイト(ノッティンガム・フォレスト)、DFジャレル・クアンサー(リバプール)が外れていた中、アルバニア戦で負傷したFWアンソニー・ゴードン(ニューカッスル・ユナイテッド)が離脱していた。 残り2名で外れるのは、ニューカッスルのDFヴァレンティノ・リヴラメントと、ラムズデールの2名。リヴラメントはアルバニア戦でベンチ入りも出番はなく、今回の活動では出番なしで終了することとなった。なお、アルバニア戦で外れていたギブス=ホワイト、クアンサーはベンチ入りすることとなる。 トゥヘル監督はこの決定について「最高のチームを見つけるために、プロセスを正しく実行する必要がある」とコメント。「もしそれが、非常に優秀で才能のある選手をチームから外すことを意味するのであれば、これは起こり得ることだ。今後16カ月で重要なのは、最も才能のある26人の選手ではなく、適切なチームを見つけることだ」と語った。 また「チームを正しい方向に導く必要がある。チームスピリットを正しく保つ必要がある。予選を戦うことと、トーナメントでプレーすることは別問題だからだ」とし、しっかりと予選を勝ち抜くことがまずは大事だとした。 2025.03.24 23:45 Mon

レヴァンドフスキに幻のバロンドール授与か…主催『フランス・フットボール』が検討との報道
バルセロナのポーランド代表FWロベルト・レヴァンドフスキに幻のバロンドールが授与される可能性が出てきた。 バロンドールは、『フランス・フットボール』が主催するフットボール界最高の栄誉のひとつである個人賞。 フットボール界屈指のストライカーであるレヴァンドフスキは、2019-20シーズンに在籍したバイエルンで47試合55ゴールを記録し、ブンデスリーガ、DFBポカール、チャンピオンズリーグのシーズントレブルに貢献。同シーズンの最有力受賞者候補となっていた。 しかし、2020年は新型コロナウイルスの世界的なパンデミックを受けた影響で、多くのコンペティションが打ち切りや大会縮小などに追い込まれた結果、『フランス・フットボール』は同年のバロンドールの中止を決断。これによりレヴァンドフスキは最大の受賞チャンスを逃した。 さらに、翌2020-21シーズンも40試合48ゴールという数字を残し、ブンデスリーガ、FIFAクラブ・ワールドカップ、UEFAスーパーカップ、DFLスーパーカップの4冠に貢献したポーランド代表FWは、前年の中止という状況も鑑みて受賞が期待されたが、2021年はアルゼンチン代表FWリオネル・メッシが受賞することになった。 この物議を醸す受賞に際してメッシが「去年、パンデミックで中止となったバロンドールはロベルトこそが勝者だった」と素直な思いを語れば、レヴァンドフスキも「どちらかの年は僕の番だったと思っている」、「もし4年後に2020年のバロンドールを受賞することになっても、決して気分を害することはない。それはとても光栄なことで、賞を受け取るだろう」との発言を行っていた。 スペイン『スポルト』によると、以降この一件に音沙汰はなかったが、『フランス・フットボール』はここにきてレヴァンドフスキに2020年のバロンドールを授与することを検討しているという。 現在のところ協議は続いており、結論に達するまでに考慮すべき複数の要素があるというが、前述のレヴァンドフスキのコメント通り、4年後に幻のバロンドールが授与されることになるのか…。 2024.05.15 08:17 Wed

スケッチャーズがサッカースパイク界に進出!契約第1号はバイエルン移籍のイングランド代表FWケイン

バイエルン女子がレバークーゼン下し無敗で女子ブンデスリーガ連覇達成!通算6度目の優勝でカップとの2冠なるか
