元日本代表FW大久保嘉人氏が、甲子園のマウンドに立った。

現役時代はセレッソ大阪やヴィッセル神戸、川崎フロンターレなどでプレー。マジョルカ、ヴォルフスブルクと海外でもプレーを経験すると、日本代表としても2度のワールドカップ出場を果たしていた。

2021年に現役を引退。活動の幅を広げ、テレビ出演なども増えた大久保氏だが、8日についに阪神甲子園球場のマウンドに立つこととなった。

8日に行われた阪神タイガースvs東京ヤクルトスワローズの2回戦。試合前に大久保氏が始球式に登場。阪神風のユニフォームは大久保が現役時代に背負った「13」をつけての登場となった。

大久保氏は自身のインスタグラムを更新。見事な投球フォームの姿をアップした。

「まさに死闘ってカンジ」歴史に残るバーレーンとの4-3の激闘!2004年大会プレイバックに反響「このゴールで中澤佑二に惚れた」

水頭症の治療も及ばず他界した工藤壮人に古巣が追悼…カナダからもメッセージ「一番辛い仕事」、「信じられません」
