元日本代表MFの橋本英郎氏が自身のツイッターを更新。ワールド・ベースボール・クラシック(WBC)を戦った侍ジャパンの大谷翔平(ロサンゼルス・エンゼルス)の運動神経に驚いた。

22日に行われた決勝でアメリカ代表を下し、3大会ぶりの優勝を果たした侍ジャパン。大谷は3番指名打者で先発すると、9回には投手として登板。最後にはエンゼルスの同僚でもあるマイク・トラウトを三振に切って取り、胴上げ投手に。

さらに大会を通して3試合に登板して2勝1セーブ。打者としても打率4割3分5厘の1本塁打、8打点のフル回転で大会MVPに輝いた。

平日午前の開催ながら平均世帯視聴率は40%を超えた決勝戦だが、現役時代にはガンバ大阪の中盤を支え、日本代表としても15試合に出場しながら1月に現役を引退した橋本氏も試合を見守っていたようで、「日本優勝!おめでとう!!!」と祝福。さらに大谷がサッカーボールでリフティングをする過去の映像を取り上げ、「大谷選手、サッカーまで上手いんか。。笑」とその運動神経に驚いていた。

大谷は長い足を使って器用にボールをリフティングしており、その姿を見たファンも「何でも出来るのズルい」、「三刀流あるぞ」、「なんでも出来ちゃうオオタニサン」、「貴重な映像」、「オオタニサン、次はW杯とりません?」と橋本氏と同じように驚いた様子だった。

「ついにこの瞬間がやって来ました」WE優勝の浦和L栗島朱里が歓喜!あの"伝統芸"がレディースでついに完成か「こだわり抜いたこの真顔」

「可愛いな」「最強の二人」なでしこを支える岩渕真奈&熊谷紗希がオフ満喫、2ショットが話題に「すごく素敵」
