日本代表のDF板倉滉が、カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)を終えての心境を綴った。7大会連続7度目のW杯出場となった日本。史上初のベスト8へ、「新しい景色」を見ることを目標にチームは準備をしてきた。
板倉は川崎フロンターレの下部組織出身で、当初はボランチでもプレー。ベガルタ仙台への期限付き移籍でセンターバックとして評価を高めると、マンチェスター・シティに完全移籍する。
シティでのプレー機会はなかったが、フローニンヘンへのレンタル移籍で評価を高めると、2021-22シーズンは2.ブンデスリーガ(ドイツ2部)のシャルケにレンタル。チームの守備を支え、2部での優勝と昇格の原動力。しかし、シャルケに留まらず、今季はボルシアMGへと完全移籍していた。
初のブンデスリーガでのプレーでは、驚異的な守備を見せてチームを支えていたが、9月に左ヒザ内側じん帯の部分断裂の重傷。W杯出場を目指し手術を行わないと、なんとか間に合い、W杯ではグループステージ3試合でプレー。出場停止となってしまいクロアチア代表戦は出番がなく、チームも敗退となってしまった。

「昨年亡くなった母に…」プレミア50試合目でアーセナル初ゴールの冨安健洋、ゴールパフォーマンスの意図を明かす

「この美女は誰だ?」「ワールドクラス」FIFAの国際映像に映り込んだ日本人サポーターがフォロワー急増「めちゃくちゃフォローされるw」

「公式がこれは泣けるよ」W杯を終えた日本代表、JFA公開の映像がイナズマイレブンの楽曲含め大反響「4年後も期待」

「正解を選択するのではなく、自分の選択を正解にする」長友佑都が改めて心境、今後は「感情たちと会話しながら決めたい」
