アルコールの販売が禁止となったカタール・ワールドカップについて、イングランド代表のDFエリック・ダイアーが主観を述べた。
いよいよ開幕するカタールW杯。全世界で50億人以上の人々が視聴すると言われる世界最大規模の大イベントが遂に幕を開ける。
ただ、カタールという地での開催を巡っては癒着や賄賂、人権問題に晒されており、FIFAのジャンニ・インファンティーノ会長が火消しに走っている状況だ。
さらにここに来て、以前から議論されていたアルコール販売が中止されることが大会本部から確認された。
イスラム教徒が多いカタールでは、アルコールは違法ではないものの、公共の場での販売や摂取は基本的に禁止されている。
これにコメントを求められたダイアーは、お酒の有無にかかわらず、ファンが満足できるかどうかは、選手たちのプレー次第だと主張した。
「何よりもまず、お酒がなくても楽しめると僕は思う。そう言っておくことが大事だよね。それとアーロン(ラムズデール)が言ったように、ファンが楽しめられるかどうかは、ピッチ上での戦う僕ら次第なんだ」

欧州サッカー連盟(UEFA)の登録ルールへ変更によってトッテナムに追い風が吹いている。イギリス『ミラー』が伝えている。 7日にチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)のグループステージ初戦のマルセイユ戦を控えるトッテナムは、グループステージに向けた25名の登録メンバーを確定させた。 通常、自クラブのユースカテゴリーに所属する若手選手を除きトップチームの選手が登録されるAリストでは、25名中8名のホームグロウン選手を登録する必要がある。その条件を満たせない場合は、25名から不足人数に応じて登録削減を余儀なくされる。 そのホームグロウン選手に関しては、15歳から21歳の間に3年以上クラブに在籍している選手(クラブ養成選手)か、クラブが所属する協会内の他クラブに15歳から21歳の間に3年以上在籍している選手(協会養成選手)という規定があり、協会養成選手の上限は8名中4名までとなっている。 トッテナムではFWハリー・ケイン、MFオリヴァー・スキップ、DFジャフェット・タンガンガ、GKブランドン・オースティンがクラブ養成選手、DFジェド・スペンス、MFライアン・セセニョン、GKフレイザー・フォースターの3選手が協会養成選手として登録が可能だった。 しかし、残る1枠を埋めることができず、当初は最大登録人数を24名に制限される予定だったが、UEFAが今シーズンから登録ルールを変更したことで、これまで通常登録だったDFベン・デイビスをホームグロウン選手として登録可能となった。 ウェールズ代表のベン・デイビスは、母国のスウォンジー・シティのユース育ち。そのスウォンジーはその他のウェールズの一部クラブと同様に、トッテナムが属するイングランド・フットボールリーグ(EFL)で活動しているが、これまでUEFAは協会養成選手としての登録を頑なに認めていなかった。 しかし、今回のルール変更によって協会養成選手としての登録が可能となった。これにより、トッテナムはAリスト25名をフル活用できるようになり、登録メンバー外の可能性もあったスペイン代表FWブライアン・ヒルやセネガル代表MFパプ・マタル・サールらも無事登録されている。 ちなみに、イングランド代表DFエリック・ダイアーはポルトガルのスポルティングCPでユース時代を過ごしており、イングランド人選手ながらホームグロウン選手としての登録ができない。また、アイルランド代表DFマット・ドハーティは長らくイングランドでプレーしているものの、EFLとは異なるアイルランドの管轄にあるボヘミアンズでユース時代を過ごしたため、こちらも通常登録となる。 2022.09.06 23:19 Tue

名門の宿命…バイエルン選手間の“トゥヘル派”と”反トゥヘル派”

相手が恐れる右手…ストライカーの完成形と呼ばれた男、アラン・シアラー

イングランド代表のユニフォームが変? ファンが気づいた異変はベテランキットマンのまさかのミス…「間違ってしまった」

「可愛い!」ペガサスに乗って宙を舞うイングランド代表FWサカの衝撃写真が話題沸騰「この男を愛さないわけにはいかない」
