英雄ガジャルド退任のリーベル、デミチェリス氏を新監督に任命か

リーベル・プレートが、マルティン・デミチェリス氏(41)を新監督として招聘するようだ。アルゼンチン『TyC Sports』が報じている。

先日、マルセロ・ガジャルド監督の退任を発表したリーベル。同監督は2014年から指揮を執り、昨シーズンのリーガ・プロフェシオナル・デ・フットボル(アルゼンチン1部リーグ)優勝に加え、2度のコパ・リベルタドーレス、3度のコパ・アルヘンティーナなど、合計14個ものタイトルをもたらした。

そんな英雄ガジャルド監督の後任となれば、大きな重圧がのしかかるが、現時点で同クラブの出身であるデミチェリス氏が最有力候補となっているようだ。

現役時代の同氏は2000年にリーベルでプロデビューし、2003年のバイエルン移籍で欧州上陸。バイエルンでは4度のブンデスリーガ制覇に貢献し、その後はマラガやマンチェスター・シティ、エスパニョールなどを経て、2017年夏、再び加入していたマラガで現役を引退した。

引退後は、当時マラガを率いていたミチェル監督のアシスタントコーチに就任。2019年夏からはバイエルンのU-19の監督に任命され、2021年4月から現在に至るまでバイエルンのセカンドチームを指揮している。

『TyC Sports』によると、ここ数日の間にリーベルとデミチェリス氏の話し合いが進展。同メディアは41歳指揮官の古巣就任が迫っていると伝えている。

なお、デミチェリス氏は以前、リーベル就任の噂について「リーベルがバイエルンに並んで私のお気に入りのクラブであることは誰もが知っている。監督候補の一人として私の名前が挙がっていることを誇りに思う」とコメントしている。

スケッチャーズがサッカースパイク界に進出!契約第1号はバイエルン移籍のイングランド代表FWケイン

伝説のGKカーンが語る意外な後悔「あそこに移籍すれば良かった」
