スポルティングCPの日本代表MF守田英正が厳しい評価を受けている。スポルティングは26日、チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)グループD第5節でトッテナムとアウェイで対戦した。
守田はこの試合も先発出場。トッテナム相手に中盤での高いパフォーマンスが求められたが、なかなか良いプレーを見せられない。
それでもチームは22分にマーカス・エドワーズのゴールで先制する。
パフォーマンスが上がらない守田は61分に18歳のマテウス・フェルナンデスと交代。チームはその後に失点し、1-1の引き分けに終わった。

「TJ、今年で引退します!!」 田中順也が36歳で現役生活に終止符
