ナポリ、ユーロで躍動のチェコ代表GKヴァツリークの獲得を狙う!昨季でセビージャを退団

ナポリが、チェコ代表GKトマシュ・ヴァツリーク(32)の獲得に関心を示しているようだ。イタリア『スカイ・スポーツ』が伝えている。

開催中のユーロ2020において、チェコ代表守護神としての活躍が印象深いヴァツリーク。ラウンド16では、それまで8ゴールを記録していたオランダ代表を無失点に抑え、2大会ぶりのベスト8進出に貢献した。

3日に行われた準々決勝でデンマーク代表に惜しくも敗れ、敗退が決まったヴァツリークだが、今夏はもうしばらく忙しいオフシーズンになりそうだ。

同選手は昨季限りで3年過ごしたセビージャを退団。加入当時は正GKが不在だったこともあり、すぐにレギュラーの座を掴んだが、2019-20シーズン終盤のケガで状況が一変。代わって起用された控えGKボノが覚醒し、20-21シーズンは公式戦8試合の出場に留まっていた。

そして、フリーのチェコ代表GKに興味を持っているのがナポリだ。同クラブでは現在、GKアレックス・メレトとGKダビド・オスピナがしのぎを削っており、どちらとも正GKとは言えない状況。そこに実力も経験もあるヴァツリークが加入することで、守護神争いのさらなる活発化を狙っているようだ。

なお、本人はデンマーク戦後に去就について言及したが、「大会が終わってから決める」と言うにとどめている。
