監督業再開目指すブラン氏と世界最高の代理人が急接近!

元フランス代表指揮官のローラン・ブラン氏(54)が、監督業再開に向けて世界最高の代理人と急接近しているようだ。フランス『Foot Mercato』が報じている。

現役時代にバルセロナやマルセイユ、インテル、マンチェスター・ユナイテッドで活躍した名センターバックとして知られるブラン氏。

現役引退後はボルドー、フランス代表監督、パリ・サンジェルマン(PSG)の指揮官を歴任。2013年から率いたPSGでは2年連続国内3冠に導いたものの、チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)での成績不振が影響し、2016年に辞任。以降はフリーの状態が続いている。

以前から監督業再開に前向きな同氏に関しては、昨年にチェルシーやリヨン、バルセロナとの交渉も報じられていたが、最終的に交渉はまとまらなかった。

そういった事情もあり、監督業再開に焦りを見せ始めたのか、ブラン氏はここ最近に入って、ユベントスのポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウドらを顧客に持ち、世界最高の代理人の一人とも評されるジョルジュ・メンデス氏と急接近しているという。

トッテナムのジョゼ・モウリーニョ監督やウォルバーハンプトンのヌーノ・エスピリと・サント監督ら指導者のマネジメントにも明るいメンデス氏は、昨年に元フランス代表MFのサブリ・ラムシ氏をノッティンガム・フォレストと結び付けた実績もある。

なお、メンデス氏に関しては前述のウルブスやバレンシアなどのアドバイザーも務めているが、ブラン氏が以前からフィオレンティーナの監督候補に挙がっていることもあり、まずは同クラブとの交渉が優先事項となるかもしれない。
