デル・ピエロ、セリエA再開後のタイトルレースは「未知なる領域」

元イタリア代表FWのアレッサンドロ・デル・ピエロ氏が、ロックダウン後のセリエAのタイトルレースについて話している。『フットボール・イタリア』が伝えた。

2019-20シーズンのセリエAでは、勝ち点63で首位に立つユベントスに対し、ラツィオが勝ち点1差の2位につけている。しかし、新型コロナウイルス(COVID-19)の影響を受けて中断。5月31日の再開を目指し、協議を重ねているところだ。

デル・ピエル氏は2014年に選手生活を引退。以降はアメリカ4部相当のUPSL(ユナイテッドプレミアサッカーリーグ)に所属するLA10のオーナーを務めている。イタリア『ガゼッタ・デロ・スポルト』のインタビューで、再開後のスクデット争いについて古巣が有利であるとしながらも、予想は困難だとコメントしている。

「私たちにはこの事態の予測は不可能だよ。なぜなら未知の領域だからね」

「この難しい時期の中で、我々は違いを生み出せる人間性とプロフェッショナルを兼ね備えたチームでなければならない。そしてそのような選手を多く抱えるチームが必然的に優勝するだろう」

「ユベントスはチームの選手層が厚いし有利だとは思う。しかし、だからと言って優勝が決まっているわけではないだろう」

デル・ピエロ氏は約19年間にわたり、ユベントスに在籍。6度のスクデット獲得に貢献し、1995-96シーズンにはチャンピオンズリーグのタイトルを同クラブもたらした。また3度にわたりイタリア代表としてワールドカップに出場。2006年のドイツ・ワールドカップでは世界制覇も成し遂げている。

チームメイトのスマホで勝手に自撮りした結果…別の選手の全裸が1600万人に晒されてしまう

日本人が目指すべきCB像、“希少なバロンドーラー“ファビオ・カンナバーロ
