アデバヨールがパラグアイの名門に正式加入! サンタクルスとシティ時代以来のコンビ形成

パラグアイの名門オリンピア・アスンシオンは11日、元トーゴ代表FWエマニュエル・アデバヨール(35)をフリートランスファーで獲得したことを発表した。

モナコやアーセナル、マンチェスター・シティ、レアル・マドリー、トッテナムなどでプレーしたアデバヨールは、2017年1月にイスタンブール・バシャクシェヒルに入団。2019年8月からカイセリスポルでプレーしていた。

カイセリスポルでは、今シーズンのスュペル・リグで8試合に出場し2ゴール1アシストを記録。だが、昨年12月初旬にプライベートの問題を理由に電撃退団していた。

パラグアイリーグで最多42回の優勝を誇るオリンピアは、1月17日に開幕した2020シーズンでここまで4試合を終え、2勝1分け1敗の5位に位置。なお、同クラブには昨季26ゴールで完全優勝に貢献した元パラグアイ代表FWロケ・サンタクルスが在籍しており、アデバヨールとマンチェスター・シティ時代以来のコンビを組むことになる。
