現役時代にオランダ代表FWとして活躍したパトリック・クライファート氏が同胞であり、古巣アヤックスの後輩でもあるユベントスの同代表DFマタイス・デ・リフト(20)にコメントした。イギリス『FourFourTwo』が報じている。
アヤックスがチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)ベスト4進出の躍進を遂げた昨シーズン、個人としてもセンセーショナルな活躍で才能を世界に知らしめたデ・リフト。その活躍から複数有力クラブの関心を惹きつけ、バルセロナ行きが囁かれるなか、イタリアの絶対的王者であるユベントス入りを選択した。
ここまでのところ、DFジョルジョ・キエッリーニの負傷離脱で一定の出場機会が巡ってきている状況だが、新天地での挑戦は順風満帆とは言い難い。キエッリーニが復帰となれば、DFレオナルド・ボヌッチら含めたポジション争いが待っており、定位置確保に向けてさらなるアピールが求められる。
そうしたなか、バルセロナ下部組織でディレクターを務めるクライファート氏がスペイン『ムンド・デポルティボ』のインタビューで、ユベントスで苦戦が続くデ・リフトについて、こう話したという。
「彼をバルセロナに移籍させようと説得にあたったことなんてなかった。ただ彼にバルセロナというクラブと、その街の良いところを話しただけだ」

ディバラのスパーズ行きが急浮上! 約83億円でクラブ間合意に

欧州のドリブルキングはメッシ! C・ロナウドとは成功数に1000以上の差
