C・ロナウドのデビュー地…スポルティングの本拠地、改名案が浮上!

スポルティング・リスボンのスタジアム名が変わるかもしれない。スペイン『アス』が報じた。

スポルティングの会長を務めるフレデリコ・バランダス氏がイタリア『トゥットスポルト』のインタビューで、改名の可能性を明かしたという。しかも、新たなスタジアム名は、スポルティングから世界に羽ばたいたユベントスのポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウドにちなんだものだというのだ。

バランダス会長は「それは排除しがたいアイデアの1つであり、我々にとって非常に誇らしいものだ。クリスティアーノは我々のクラブ史における最も偉大なシンボルの1つ。クリスティアーノ・ロナウドとの結びつきは誇らしく、世界最高の選手名前をスポルティングと密接にさせられることも誇りだ」と語った。

スポルティングの本拠地エスタディオ・ジョゼ・アルバラーデは、1956年に開場。同名は2003年の新スタジアム移転後も引き継がれ、こけら落としの一戦はC・ロナウドがサー・アレックス・ファーガソン元監督の目に止まるマンチェスター・ユナイテッド戦だった。

なお、気になる新スタジアム名だが、すでにいくつかの候補が浮上している模様。C・ロナウドの名前にちなんだものになる場合、「クリスティアーノ・ロナウド・アレーナ」、「CR7アレーナ」が挙がっているという。

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

「勝負師の顔つき」「ガッツあってかっこいい」相馬勇紀が今季2ゴール目、スポルティング相手に一時追いつくゴール「顔つき引き締まりすぎ」
