スポルティング・リスボンの10番、元コロンビア代表FWモンテーロが退団

スポルティング・リスボンは15日、元コロンビア代表FWフレディ・モンテーロ(31)との契約を双方合意の下、解除したことを発表した。

2013年からスポルティングでプレーするストライカーのモンテーロは、同クラブで公式戦131試合に出場して46ゴール18アシストを記録。今季はポルトガルリーグで9試合に出場して2ゴール3アシストを、ヨーロッパリーグで5試合に出場して2ゴールをマークしていたが、負傷の影響もあって年明け以降は出場機会を得られずにいた。

また、2007年5月にデビューしたコロンビア代表ではこれまで4試合に出場していた。

なお、今後の去就に関しては2017年にレンタルで在籍したMLSのバンクーバー・ホワイトキャップス行きが報じられている。
