▽チェルシーが、以前から注視しているニューカッスルのイングランド人DFジャマール・ラッセルズ(24)獲得に3000万ポンド(約44億6000万円)を準備しているようだ。イギリス『ミラー』が報じた。

▽記事によると、新シーズンに向けて守備陣の強化を目指しているチェルシーは、昨年夏に退団した現アストン・ビラの元イングランド代表DFジョン・テリーのような選手を探しているとのこと。そこで、ニューカッスルでキャプテンを務めるラッセルズに白羽の矢を向けたという。

▽ラッセルズは2014年のニューカッスル加入以降、安定したパフォーマンスを披露してディフェンスリーダーに君臨。チェルシー側は、同選手の統率力と色気を出さない割り切った守備に魅力を感じているそうだ。
